Rei wiped away the tear. I wonder what she's dreaming about...

 

A second later, Becky's eyes opened. "A-Akito..." she muttered under her breath and looked down at the ground. How could I have forgotten him...?

 

"You alright?" Rei asked Becky. I've got some research to do after this....

 

Becky looked up at Rei. "Yeah..." she said but then looked back down. "Well... sort of... do you remember a boy named Akito...?" she asked.

OOC- just lettin you know... I may make a new character soon if that's okay... :3

 

"I might have." Rei said thoughtfully. "Placing names with faces is getting harder nowadays."

"Yeah..." Becky said. "I can hardly remember what he looked like at all..."

 

Rei shrugged. "It might be that he was only in your dream... not a real person..."

"I remember seeing him somewhere, though..." she said. "I made... a promise... and I didn't keep it..."

Rei smiled. "I understand. Need any help?"

 

"No... not at the moment..." she said. "I have a few things that I need to think over..." She looked down and saw that she was back to her original form. She gave a small smile.

 

Rei stood and put Becky on her own feet. "Kairuto and I will be separated for a while, so call me with this if you need me." He handed her a sleek black feather. "I've got some things of my own that need explaining." He stretched his right wing to make sure he could use it. "Alright, I'll be back soon." He jumped out Kairuto's window and took off towards the museum.

 

Alright..." Becky said and smiled, watching him fly out of the window. She put a hand on her chest, a little bit of the pain still there. Slowly, she went back over and sat on the chair near Kairuto. She looked down at the floor, thinking. Akito... I'm sorry... she thought as she felt a tear roll down her cheek.

 

Kairuto's eyes opened half way. "...Hey... don't cry..."

 

Becky looked up at Kairuto. "You're awake..." she said and gave a small smile. Well I'm glad to see that he's okay... she thought.

 

Kairuto lifted and flexed his hands. "It would seem so." He said jokingly. "...Huh?" He put a hand on his chest. It's that empty feeling... He looked at Becky. "Where'd Rei go?"

 

"He said that he needed to do something..." she said. "But I'm sure he'll be back soon..."

 

Kairuto sighed. "I know what he's doing..." He muttered. Struggling to a sitting position, he shut his eyes for a moment. "You feeling better?"

 

"Yeah..." Becky said and gave a small smile. "What about you...? How are you feeling...?" she asked.

 

Kairuto opened his eyes. "Empty..." He looked out the window. "I wonder if Dai-chan is okay...."

 

"I hope so..." Becky said and looked down at her hands. She couldn't seem to get him out of her mind.
