Panzela nodded, "Sir, before I do. I think I should tell you what Dai has asked me to. She said you have three days." then she turned and walked up to Dai'r room. "Dai, I've been asked to fetch Megumi, will she come out?" Or do I have to fight you? I hope not.

 

"Well... alright then..." she said. "But please, neesama... be careful..." She looked up at the sky. She didn't want him getting hurt more than he already was...

 

"Careful is my middle name!" Kairuto struck a hero pose. "Well, my other middle name." He laughed. "Everyone knows my first one is Lady-magnet."

Dai quickly hid the book. "Coming." She called, a bit irritated. She left her room and closed the door behind herself.

 

"Thanks for not being stubborn." Panzela said, smiling slightly, "Well, let's go see what your father wants her for tonight." she walked back to the study with Dai.

BIC: "What do you want?" Dai asked her father, not really interested.

Hiwatari tossed the scroll at Dai.

Megumi instantly took over and caught the scroll. "No need to explain. I understand."

 

OOC: haha, he's so goofy, ur doing a good job writing him. :roll:

BIC: Panzela watched Megumi warely and stayed to the side. "Is there anything else, sir?" she asked Hiwatari.

 

Becky laughed and rolled her eyes. "You're such a boy, Kairuto..." she said and grinned.

 

"That's all. You're both dismissed." Hiwatari said.

Megumi handled the scroll very carefully. "Too bad, Dai-sama, you're late."

"Aw c'mon, you know I could get any girl I want with these looks." Kairuto showed off his biceps. "Huh, huh? I'm right, right? Say I'm right."

"You only have those tiny things 'cuase you trained to be my Tamer." Rei remarked.

"Hey! You can't tell anyone about that, Rei!" Kairuto sweatdropped.

 

Panzela nodded and walked out of the room, looking once at Megumi, worried.

Becky laughed. "Yeah, sure... whatever you want to believe..." she said and smiled.

 

"Calm your waters." Megumi told Panzela. "No one's going to die yet."

Kairuto smiled. "I knew I could make you laugh." He ruffled Becky's hair.

Becky smiled and laughed a little. "You're so funny, Neesama..." she said and grinned. She looked up as they soon arrived back at the Ayume house.

BIC: Panzela looked at her blankly, "'Yet'? And I should 'calm my waters' why?" she shook her head, "Honestly..." walking down the street, her expression changed to match her feelings.

 

Megumi laughed. "I like her."

"I'll wait for the cover of dark." Kairuto told Becky. "That's about an hour or so." He headed up to his room to change into some suitable clothes.

 

Panzela walked past her house to the park and fell onto a bench. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen so she just stared off into nothing, and waited.

 

"Alright... I've got something I need to do..." she said and headed up to her room with the book. She went into the room and closed the door, locking it behind her and laying the book open flat on her desk. I want to try this again... she thought and read the instructions carefully.

 

Megumi read the incantations on the scroll aloud. There was a bright flash of light and Megumi broke away from Dai. She looked at her hands. "This power.... It's incredible."

Dai fell to the floor unconscious.

Kairuto changed into a black shirt and black pants. "You ready?"

"Yeah. Let's get this over with." Rei said.

 

Becky closed her eyes and placed her hand on the same spot in the book again. Okay... I can do this... she thought and took a deep breathe before reciting the spell aloud. Once again the book began to glow and she could feel pressure starting to build on her. But she continued to say the spell until it was done and then the book shone really bright, brighter than it had ever been before. She felt alot of pain start to fill her arm but she knew she had done it right, so she kept going, reciting the next part of the spell.
