Will of Fire

Dai kept her eyes open. There's no way I'm passing out now. Megumi might come out again. She looked at the sky. "Night has come.... My father's gonna kill me...."

 

"I'm sure he'll understand..." Becky said and smiled.

 

Dai shook her head and instantly regretted it. "My father is not one who takes failure lightly..."

 

OOC: sorry i missed the fight. lol

BIC: Panzela helped Dai up, "I'll try to get her home before her father can freak, and even if we can't get there in time, I can give her a good cover story."

 

"No........ I'll go by myself..." Dai stood on her own, swaying slightly.

 

Panzela lightly took Dai's shoulder to steady her, then she suddenly let go and looked just past her, knowing she didn't want to be helped. "I have to go with you anyway, I have information your father wants." she frowned slightly.

 

"Great. What crap is planning now?" Dai put a hand over her heart. I used way too much energy to surpress Megumi....

 

Panzela shook her head, "I don't know. All he told me was to get information on the security of the muesum. It sounds to me like he wants you two to go back and get something, but this time, quietly."

 

Dai sighed. "Whatever. I'm not doing it."

 

Panzela shrugged, "I don't care, honestly. But I still have to give him my information. I have to do whatever he asks." she looked at Dai, "Are you going home now, or not?"

 

"Right." Dai waved to Becky and started walking home.

 

Panzela also waved at Becky and walked next to Dai. She suddenly remembered her blades where still out and flicked her wrists so they dissapeared again.

 

"Don't you ever get poked by those things?" Dai asked, trying to distract her mind from her weariness.

 

"No." Panzela answered simply, not sure if Dai really wanted to hear anything or was just trying to talk to keep her mind busy.

 

Dai sighed. "Whatever my father is doing or planning, it can't be good...." She looked at her hands. "My father is a total dumbass if he thinks I'm just willingly gonna do this."

 

"Yeah, he is so much like my father and mother, 'thinks the world will lay down for him." Panzela blurted out. She mentally slapped herself and looked away from Dai. What was that!? I can't insult her father or say anything about my parents. I don't want anyone finding out I live alone an I can't loose my job. Hells, I'm and idiot.

 

Dai looked over at Panzela. "You okay?"

 

Panzela gave her a fake smile, "Yeah, I'm fine."

 

That's how I smile when I'm hiding something. Dai shrugged it off. "If you say so."

 

Panzela looked straight ahead, lost in thoughts and memories.
