Panzela glanced at the clock and thought for a moment. "Anthony, how well do you feel right now?" she asked after a bit, smiling.

 

Kairuto glared at Akito as Wizard clambered onto his shoulder. "What the hell are you doing here?"

 

"Look, I came to apologize to Becky... And to explain exactly why I've been acting the way I have..." He said and sighed. "I should've just told you the truth to start with..."

Becky was surprised. She hadn't expected him to apologize. However, before she could say anything, she noticed the burn marks on Akito's arms and legs from Akari's laser. She could tell they were fresh burns, too. "A-Akito... You've been burned..." She said softly, with concern in her voice. Wait, why do I even care if he's hurt...? She wondered, taking another step back from him.

Akito looked down. "That's kind of part of the truth..." He said. "But don't worry," He said, hearing the concern in her voice.

"Really good!" Anthony said and grinned. "Why?"

 

"Well I did say I'd start to teach you how to speak...." Panzela looked just above Anthony, trying to look innocent while fighting her grin. "What do you think?"

"I won't." Kairuto retorted, putting a hand on Becky's wrist protectively. "Explain fast and then leave."

Akito sighed and took a step back to show he wouldn't hurt Becky. "Alright, alright..." He said and put his hands up. "The truth is, my parents are friends with the Hiwataris... If I don't help them, they'll hurt my parents badly, mentally and physically... I had to make it seem like I was on there side. Trust me, I'm with you, not them... I've already talked with Panzela about this, as well. I know this won't do anything, but I came to apologize for the way I've been acting..." He looked down. "I'm not asking for your forgiveness, but I just thought I should say that..." He held up his hand to show them a burn mark. "These burns were given to me by Akari as punishment for being found talking with Panzela..." He explained.

Becky hid behind Kairuto a bit, frightened. She could feel herself trembling because she was still afraid of him from when he had hurt her last time. She didn't know if she could believe him or not anymore.

Anthony grinned. "Really?! We can start now?!" He asked excitedly through sign language.

 

OOC: ACK! so many hot vampires, u guys are making me want to change my profile too. :P

BIC: "If you feel up to it, yeah." Panzela answered, laughing. "I promised, and you look energetic enough. We can start whenever you want."

Kairuto didn't let up on his glare. "I don't give a crap whose side your on. To me, you're still an enemy. Don't come near my sister again." He shut the door, not caring if Akito wanted to say more.

 

OOC- YES! Change it~! <3 lolz... XD

Becky was still trembling, even though Kairuto had shut the door. She held on to his hand tightly. That was kind of mean... But Akito kind of deserved it... He can't expect Kairuto to act any differently...

Anthony nodded. "Okay! Let's start now!" He said excitedly in sign language and grinned.

Akito sighed. Oh well... Now that I apologized, I should go back and see if Panzela's okay... He thought and headed back to their house, making sure to keep his senses open for Akari.

 

Kairuto turned to face Becky, keeping hold of her hand. "It's okay. I'll make sure he doesn't bother you. Rei and I both will."

 

OOC: maybe i will. ^-^ when i get home and have time that is.

BIC: "Okay." Panzela sat on the end of his bed with her legs crossed. "Hm, where to start. How about the alphabet?"

 

Becky smiled. "Thanks..." She said as she started to calm down, the trembling in her hands slowing. "I don't think he'll try to hurt me again, though..." She added.

Anthony nodded. "Okay! I already learned the alphabet in school, but I can't remember how to say each letter..."

Akito showed up at the window again. "Are you two okay?" He asked, breathless and worried. He'd had a feeling that Akari would try to go after them once she'd left.

OOC- yay! ^^ we should get as many people as we can to have Edward profiles... XD

 

"He better not. It'd be in his best interest." Kairuto said.

 

OOC: ^-^ well maybe i'll have to find some good pics and ideas and ask u for help on my sigg? XD

BIC: Panzela looked up. "Yeah, we're fine. Are you okay?" she asked worriedly, "A." she added, to Anthony, signing it and pronouncing it clearly at the same time.

 

Anthony waved to Akito and smiled. Hearing Panzela say the letter, he looked back at her and tried to pronounce it. "Ah-..." He attempted, getting a small sound out, but it didn't work. He tried again. "A..."

"Somewhat..." He replied, rubbing the back of his head. "I thought Akari might have come after you once she finally left me alone..." He heard Anthony and smiled. "Ah... Learning to speak?" he asked.

Becky looked down. "You're still mad at him...?" Becky said.

OOC- all I really did for my siggy was cut it out from a larger picture on pain and then put the word "Twilight" on it... lolz XD

 

"No, she didn't come back. I dont' think so anyway." Panzela told him and then smiled, "Yeah, he's learning one letter at a time." she looked at Anthony. "good, that sounds great." she signed B, "B."

OOC: haha, well, i'll work on it, then. maybe i'll have one by this weekend.

 

"Of course." Kairuto grumbled.

 

"I see..." Becky said softly.

Akito hid his burns as best he could and sat down near them. "That's good... About Akari and the learning..." He said and smiled.

Anthony tried the next one. "B-.. Buh-..." He attempted again. "Buh-... B-..." He still couldn't get it.

Panzela caught sight of his burns just before he hid them. She frowned at him, "I have some stuff that will help with those." she said, pointing at the burns. then she looked at Anthony and pointed at her mouth, "Watch, B. B-ee" she said, very slowly and clearly so he could see how to make the sound.

"How could I not be after what he did?" Kairuto asked, anger edging his voice.
