Will of Fire

Dai paced her room. Wiz.... Where did you go?

"Worrying about your rat still?" Megumi snickered.

Dai stopped in front of her mirror, seeing Megumi instead of herself. "You can stay out of my head." She practically growled.

"Hey, cheer up." Rei nodded towards Wizard. "He knows how to have a good time."

 

Becky smiled.

Once Akito and Akari got back to the Hiwatari house, Akari started yelling at him. "What in the WORLD do you think you were doing hanging out with her?!" She asked, furious. "She's working with the Ayume's, remember?!" She clenched her fists.

Akito bowed his head shamefully. "I apologize, Akari... I promise it won't happen again..." He said, skipping to explain why he was there in the first place.

"It better not!" She shouted angrily and zapped him with the lazer again.

Akito let out a yell from the shock of the laser as he collapsed to his hands and knees.

 

Panzela figeted in her seat now, keeping quiet so she didn't wake her aunt and Anthony but wanting to pace. Us being together at all is going to alway cause trouble isn't it... but that's not right!

 

Dai punched the mirror, cracking the glass. She shook her hand, trying to shake the pain. Hearing Akari's yelling, she went to go see what happened. "What are you doing?!" She yelled.

 

Akari glared at Dai. "Teaching Akito here a lesson for siding with the Ayumes! He needs to learn where his loyalties lie..." She hissed and stared down at Akito.

Akito was breathing heavily. "I understand..." He said.

 

Dai ran down the stairs and stood in front of Akito, arms out. "Leave him be. As much as I hate him, he doesn't deserve this."

 

Akari growled and lowered the laser. "Fine..." She muttered, knowing she shouldn't go against Dai's word. She took a step back. "Just remember, Akito, don't go back there EVER again, or you'll get much worse than that..." She glared at them both before turning around and walking off.

Akito sighed. So she hates me, huh? Still, she saved me... He thought and stood up slowly. "Thank you..." He said to Dai and smiled.

 

Dai turned around to face Akito. "This doesn't make up for what you did to Becky. Don't think I've changed my mind about you."

 

Akito nodded. "I completely understand... And I don't expect your forgiveness..." He said, understandingly. After what I did, I'm surprised Panzela doesn't hate me... He thought and then got an idea. I should go talk to Becky... Explain to her what's really going on...

 

"You're not getting it." Dai snapped, and then noticed the look on Akito's face. "What are you thinking?"

 

Akito tilted his head. "Hmm? Nothing..." He said.

 

Panzela started to nod of in her chair. As worried as she was, not sleeping for so long was taking its toll and she was soon dozing.

 

"Whatever." Dai rolled her eyes. "Have you seen Wiz?"

 

Akito shook his head. "No, I haven't seen him anywhere..." Akito said, thinking. He turned around. "I've got a few things I need to do... I'll catch ya later..." He said and before Dai could say anything, he ran off.

Anthony yawned as he started to wake up.

 

Panzela started out of her doze. "Oh, hey Anthony." she smiled at him, "How did you sleep? Did that song keep your dreams nice?"

 

Dai folded her arms. I don't really care what he's doing. I don't know why I even bothered to stop Akari.

 

OOC- lol I have a really annoying song from Sharboy and Lavagirl stuck in my head... XD

Akito quickly ran to the Ayume's house and rang to doorbell.

Anthony nodded and smiled. "Yeah..." He said in sign language and smiled.

Becky looked at the door. Who could that be...? She wondered and went to answer it.

 

OOC: aw, that sucks!

BIC:"Good." Panzela grinned at him. "Anytime you can't sleep, that's your song now, okay?" she stood up and walked over to him, messing up his already messy hair.

 

Rei receded.

"Don't ever do that again." Kairuto told Rei, pulling Wizard out of the fridge and going to join Becky.

Becky opened the door and suddenly gasped, stumbling back a few steps in horror when she saw who it was. A-Akito!

Akito waved sheepishly. "Hi..." He said.

Anthony smiled. "Okay!" He said through sign language and grinned.
