"Sure, I'm used to staying up late and you look tired. Take a rest and then we'll switch." Panzela said, sitting back down in a spare chair. "I'll come and tell you right away if he does anything."

 

Anthony's mom smiled and nodded. "All right... Thank you, Panzela..." She said and gave her a quick hug before walking out of the room.

Akito smiled. Now's my chance... He thought.

 

Panzela hugged her back. As she left she rubbed her eyes. I really hope nothing is wrong, please.... please let it really cure him. she sighed and then realized Akito was outside. I thought he left...?

 

Once she was gone, Akito jumped in the room through the window. "You look tired," He said.

 

Panzela looked at Anthony and then up at Akito. "No, I'm fine. What are you doing in here? This is my aunts house." she whispered, so as not to wake up Anthony.

 

Akito shrugged. "I thought I'd stay just in case you need my help again," He said and smiled. Besides, there's something I wanted to ask you..."

 

Wizard held onto Becky's shoulder.

Kairuto looked at Becky. "Forget something?" he asked. "Hungry?"

 

"Oh, okay..." Panzela felt a little uneasy but wanted to trust him. "What do you want to ask?"

 

Becky took a deep breath before speaking. "Kairuto, we need to talk..." She said sternly. "What you said to Rei was really mean! Did you even stop to think before you said that?!" She asked, crossing her arms.

Akito rubbed the back of his head. "Well... um... this is kind of strange, but... uh... Have you heard about the school dance coming up...?" He asked and looked down, his face kind of red.

 

"That's none of your business." Kairuto said.

 

Panzela stared at him for a moment and couldn't help but start to giggle, trying not to be loud. "Yes, I've heard of it..." is he really asking me to the dance?

Akito pulled a small rose out from behind his back. "Well, um... I was wondering if maybe you would go to the dance with me?" He asked and handed her the rose.

Becky folded her arms. "Kairuto, come on! It may not be my business, but it's my job to protect you and Rei! It's also my job as a sister to make sure you're okay!" She said.

 

OOC: awwww! i love the differnce of things going on in the two houses. XD

BIC: Panzela blushed and took the rose. "I'd love to." she replied, smiling. "T, thanks."

 

OOC- lol I know... :D It's funny how two situations can be so different... XD


Akito blushed, too. "Cool," He said happily.

 

"Not any more!" Kairuto turned on her. "I don't want you interfering anymo-"

Rei took over. His wings were drooped and his head was hung. "I'm sorry about him, Becky-chan."

 

Panzela stroked the rose's petals and looked over at Anthony. She bit her lip."Akito, I'm sorry to ask you, but which side are you on?" she asked, tentively.

 

Becky breathed in in surprise when Rei suddenly appeared. She saw how sad he looked. "It's okay..." She said softly. "He's probably right, though... I shouldn't be interfering anymore... I've caused alot of trouble for you guys..." She rubbed the back of her head. "Are you okay?" She asked.

Akito looked down and sighed. "All right, I guess you deserve to know the real story..." He said. "The reason I'm helping the Hiwatari's is because my father is close friends with their family, and he's forcing me to... That's the real reason... If I don't help them, my father may lose his job, since the Hiwatari's were the ones who helped him keep it..." He looked her in the eyes. "But trust me... No matter what, I'm on your side... Even if it doesn't look like it..." He smiled.

 

"Oh..." Panzela could relate to needing to do what they said for a job. Deja Vu... "I understand, literally I do." she smiled. "I trust you."

 

Akito smiled. "Thanks, Panzela..." He said, gently taking her hand. "I promise, I'm on your side... I know I've acted kind of mysterious in the past, but that's because I needed to figure out what to do..." He smiled. "Thank you for trusting me..."

 

Panzela held onto his hand and nodded. "Your welcome." she smiled. "So, how are you going to hid taking me to the dance from Akari?" she asked.
