Becky felt Wizard bumpo into her. "Hey, Wiz..." She said and gave a small smile. "It's probably best we leave Kairuto and Rei alone for now... Okay?"

 

"Why?" Wizard asked.

 

"They got in a fight..." Becky explained. "And Kairuto's acting a bit... Different... Because of it..."

 

"I know what's going on then. This has happened before." Wizard's ears dropped.

 

"Huh? What do you mean?" She asked Wizard.

 

"Sometimes Tamer's have... problems when they face these kind of things." Wizard said.

 

"I don't understand..." Becky said, starting to get worried. "What kind of problems...?"

 

"The Tamer usually ignores Rei-sama and does his own will. It never turns out well. One Tamer got Rei-sama killed." Wizard lowered his eyes.

 

Becky's eyes widened. "No way..." She glanced back towards the kitchen. "But... Kairuto's not like that... If it really came to it, he'd listen to Rei!" She said.

 

Wizard hopped up to Becky's shoulder. "That was said about the other one too. Something is bothering Kairuto-sama."

 

Panzela sat, quiet for a while, watching Anthony sleep. Her thoughts ranged around from being happy about Anthony, worried about the fights going on, and still a little confused about Akito.

 

Anthony's mother stood up. "Come on, Panzela... We should let him rest..." She whispered and walked out of the room. Anthony remained asleep, but he gripped the covers tightly and uncomfortably. He made small noises in his sleep. "N-...................... M-.....................A-.....................S-..................."

"Well what can we do?" Becky asked worriedly.

 

Panzela nodded at first but she turned to look at him hesitently, when he seemed so distressed. "Do you think he's okay?" she asked, worried.

 

Anthony's mom came back. "Hmm? What do you mean?" She asked Panzela and looked at Anthony. He seemed like he was having a nightmare, but she was even more surprised that he was making noises in his sleep. "He needs his rest... But do you think we should wake him up?" She asked.

 

Panzela thought for a moment. "Maybe it's the healing process?" she wondered aloud, "I'm not sure, maybe we should just keep an eye on him. You know, check in on him often."

 

Wizard shrugged his tiny shoulders. "I don't think there's anything we can do. Rei-sama gets so upset that he doesn't do anything. He hates being in a fight with his Tamer."

 

"Yeah, good idea..." She said. "But we'll have to make sure to keep a VERY close eye on him... Something could be wrong, too, you know..."

"Well..." Becky thought for a moment and then sighed. "Well we can't just leave them like that... They could hurt each other..." She said.

Akito was sitting in a tree outside Anthony's house. He looked through the window at Panzela. This is going to be odd... He thought.

 

"Yeah..." Panzela agreed, sadly. "Why don't you go take a rest, I'll watch him for awhile." she suggested, seeing her aunt looking very tired.

 

"Kairuto-sama has already hurt Rei-sama." Wizard said. "Rei-sama's Tamer is his only 'family'. Kairuto-sama cut deep when he said Rei-sama didn't understand what it was like to have someone you care about. Rei-sama would rather die than see Kairuto-sama hurt. Megumi-san, despite her selfishness, would also die for Dai-sama. Tamers come first in all situations."

 

Becky looked down and sighed. "I need to do something to help... I can't just sit back and watch them hurt each other!!" Becky clenched her fists and stormed back into the kitchen. I need to talk to Kairuto...

"Are you sure?" Anthony's mom asked.
