Will of Fire

Anthony's mom looked up at Panzela. "Alright..." She said and took the bottle. She carefully took the cork off and placed the bottle to Anthony's lips. After having him drink the potion, she set the bottle down on the ground and waited to see what would happen. He suddenly coughed a little, breathing easier, but nothing else seemed to happen.

It didn't work... Becky thought, looking at Anthony. She could sense that he was still sick, but his breathing had changed.

 

"Touch his head...." Rei told Kairuto.

Kairuto did as he was told. There was a small flash of red light that Kairuto shut his eyes against. "What did you do...?" Kairuto asked Rei aloud.

Wizard hopped up and down. "Now is Rei-sama better?"

"Woah!" Kairuto sat up, getting dazed. He put a hand on his head. "Jeez, Rei."

"Heh, that's not all he does." Rei said, still tired.

"I can do lots! Dai-sama needs me just like Rei-sama does. I don't know who to go with." Wizard moved to Kairuto's lap.

"Don't ask me." Kairuto mumbled. "Hey, can everyone hear your mind speach?"

Wizard nodded. "Unless I don't want them to."

 

Panzela stoked Anthony's hand, waiting for something to happen. After a moment she looked from her aunt to Becky, "It isn't working is it?" she asked, crestfallen

 

Becky shook her head. "No... His health hasn't changed much... But he's better..." She said. "He can breathe easier, now..." Becky looked at Anthony, sadly, and then clenched her fists after a few minutes. "That's it...!" She said and turned around to walk out. "I'm going to find Akari... Both of you stay here with Anthony..." Before anyone could say anything, she walked out of the room.

Anthony's mom looked at Becky, and then looked down at Anthony. She stroked his hair, gently, not knowing what else to do.

 

"It'll be okay, we'll find a way to cure him. And he shouted, that's amazing." Panzela said, just looking for anything to say for her aunt.

 

Becky stepped outside the house and then suddenly stopped. "Come out, Akari! I know you're here!" She shouted.

Akari came out of her hiding place behind a tree. "My, my... Aren't you smart?" She said and smirked, crossing her arms.

"Yeah..." She said. "He's never spoken or made a sound in his life..." Suddenly, Anthony winced and opened his eyes, waking up.

 

Panzela breathed in sharply. "Anthony..." she said, softly, happy to see him waking.

"Can you do me a favor?" Kairuto asked Wizard.

Wizard nodded. "Whatcha need?"

"Go find Nee-san. I've got one of my bad feelings again..." Kairuto said.

Wizard saluted Kairuto and then hopped outside.

 

Becky instantley produced a staff in her hands, made of aura. "What did you do to Anthony?!" She asked, angrily.

"Geez, so demanding..." Akari said and smirked with an amused tone. "That's for me to know and for you to never find out..." She teased, laughing.

Anthony blinked and looked up at both of them, his vision blurred. He brought his hands up weakly so that he could communicate with them. "What happened...?" He asked, feeling ill.

 

Kairuto laid back down. I hate it when I'm like this...

Wizard hopped around looking for Becky.

 

Panzela sighed, "That sticker she put on you started to work. We tried to help you with the same poition that Becky used before but it didn't seem to work." she admitted.

 

"Oh..." Anthony said and tried to sit up. When he found that he couldn't, he just laid back down and relaxed. Well, what now...? He wondered, his vision fading in and out.

 

Panzela tapped her fingers in the air and made a cool breeze cool Anthony down. "Just rest, we'll figure this out." she stood up. "I'm going to help Becky. Akari is a powerful person."

 

Anthony nodded and his mother picked him up and gently placed him on the bed. Then she turned to Panzela. "Please... Be careful, dear..." She said, worried that Panzela might get hurt.

Becky clenched her fists and shot a powerful blast of aura at Akari. "Don't play games with me!" She shouted. "Tell me how to cure him!!"

Akari dodged the shot and grinned, flash stepping behind Becky. "How about, no..." She said and laughing, sticking something to her back. Becky immediately recognized what it was and tried to get it off, but it soon exploded. A paper bomb!! She fell to the ground, coughing up blood. Dangit!!

BIC: Panzela smiled at her awkwardly. "I'll be careful." she said, flicking her wrists so her blades appeared and walked outside. She ran over to Becky and Akari. "Becky, will you be okay?" she asked, quickly.

 

"I'll be fine..." Becky said and forced herself to stand back up. That was a reckless move... I need to be more careful... She thought.

Akari smirked, seeing Panzela. "Oh? Two little kitties to play with?" She grinned. "Well this should be fun..."

 

Panzela looked at her coldy and started circling her hands around each other so the air whirled into a tornado in her hands. "Akari, tell us how to cure him." she said, looking right into her eyes.

 

"Hmm..." Akari seemed to ponder this. "Nah, I think I'll pass..." She said and grinned. Laughing, she jumped up to a tree. "Give me your best shot!"

Becky clenched her fists and energy started to build up around her. Her eyes began to glow a faint, blue color and aura surrounded her hands. Quickly, she jumped up and shot a blast of aura at Akari, swiftly, and then came down on her, ready to strike with a sword made of aura.

Akari dodged the blast, but wasn't quick enough to completely dodge Becky's blow. She winced as she felt to sword pierce her shoulder, and she quickly jumped back.

 

Panzela closed her eyes and concentrated, the ball of whirling air got bigger and bigger and finally, instead of letting it fly at Akari with no control, she shot it hard at her and just before it hit her it spread out and surrounded her. The air roared around Akari and got closer to her everytime Panzela twitched her hand.

BIC: Wizard hid in a bush, watching Becky, Akari, and Panzela.
