Will of Fire

Anthony looked up at Panzela. "It's not your fault, though..." he said. "Are you hurt?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah... But for now, you and Kairuto should get your rest," She said.

 

Rei nodded and receeded.

Kairuto half smiled at Becky. "That wasn't so bad..." His eyes clouded and he fell forward.

 

"No, I'm fine. But it is my fault in a way. You guys aren't involved in this mess, you shouldn't be affected. I'm really sorry." Panzela squeezed both their hands briefly. "Auntie, the girl put a sticker thing on Anthony and I know it will do something to him. Do you know anything about this kind of thing?"

 

Becky quickly jumped forward and caught Kairuto before he fell. "Kairuto?!" She was worried about him.

Anthony's mom looked at him as he showed her the mark on his chest. "I'm afraid I don't know anything about this type of stuff..." She said, worriedly. "But there's got to be something we can do to get rid of it..." She stood up. "And it doesn't seem like it's affected him in any way at the moment..." She tried to think.

 

"Just... tired..." Kairuto said quietly and closed his eyes.

 

Panzela knelt down beside Anthony and examined the mark. "Anthony, do you feel any differnet at all?" she asked, standing back up.

 

"I'll go make some dinner," Anthony's mother said and walked off. This was usually because she always cooks when she's worried about something. Anthony just shook his head. "No..." He said.

Becky picked up Kairuto as best as she could and took him inside, laying him on his bed. He's going to need to rest for a long while... I'll keep an eye on him, just in case... She thought.

 

Panzela leaned on the bed's post and ran a hand through her hair. "This is absurd, what does Akari want with you?"

 

Kairuto breathed steadily, his head lolled to one side.

Anthony shrugged. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He immediately put his hands to his chest and fell to his knees, wanting to scream out in pain, but unable to. What's going on?! He thought.

Becky gently closed the door to his room and walked out.

 

Wizard scampered out of the Hiwatari house. "Kyuu?" He looked around for Rei. Not seeing him, Wizard hopped around trying to find him.

BIC:Panzela gasped and dropped to her knees beside him. "Auntie! Anthony's hurt!" she yelled for him, putting her arms around him to try and comfort him at least alittle.

 

Anthony gasped for air, having a hard time breathing because of the pain. He closed his eyes tightly, small tears falling down his cheeks. He didn't know what was going on or what had just happened, but it hurt alot. He did his best not to pass out. Anthony's mother heard the yell about Anthony being hurt, and she quickly ran into the room, kneeling down beside them. "What happened?!" She asked worriedly.

Becky went downstairs and sat on the couch, tired.

 

Wizard sat on his back legs, sniffing the air. "Kyuu..." He started running again.

 

"I think the sticker suddenly started to work. He gasped and fell down." Panzela explained, looking at her aunt. "I think I might have a solution, but I need to call a friend to ask. May I use your phone really fast?" she asked, quickly.

 

"Of course..." His mom said and handed Panzela her cell phone. Anthony gripped his mom's hand tightly, feeling the pain rushing through his chest and expanding outwards. He gasped for air, his eyes still closed and tears still running down his cheeks.

 

Panzela dailed Becky's house number as fast as she could. "Please be home now." she whispered.

 

Becky, hearing the phone ring, got up and awnsered it. "Hello?" She said into the reciever.

The pain in Anthony's chest suddenly grew much worse. He let out a yell of pain, surprising himself and his mother. Wait, how is that possible?! He wondered. He hadn't been able to speak or yell since he was born, but how could he now?

 

Panzela looked at him, startled and then remembered she was on the phone. "B, Becky. It's Panzela. I'm sorry but I have to know right now. That sticker thing that Akari put on you, did that poitoin cure it?"

Wizard traced Rei's smell to the Ayume house. He looked up at the big door, blinked a couple times, and then ran into it. "Kyuu!"
