Will of Fire

Becky jumped up and swung the sword at Megumi.

 

Megumi rose a bit higher, kicking the sword away.

Rei panted. She's right... Once I can, I've got to use that technique again... I've no other options... He fired again.

 

Becky dropped back down to the ground and immediately went to attack her again.

 

"Enough!" Dai used all of her strength to overpower Megumi, and dropped to the floor. Her eyes clouded over and she passed out.

Rei watched with distant eyes. He put a hand on his back, feeling the many injuries. His head was fogging and he trembled. "Could've been worse..."

 

Becky immediately ran over to Rei. Seeing he was injured badly, she produced a bit of aura to heal him. She glanced over at Dai. She stopped Megumi all by herself...? Becky thought.

Akito ran over to Dai when she fell. "Dai! Are you okay?" He asked and then saw that she was unconcious.

 

Rei shook his head. "It's just a scratch..." He muttered. "You don't have to worry."

OOC: brb

 

"Oh, sure," Becky said sarcastically. "And that's why you're bleeding all over the place..." She smiled, seeing that the wound was healing.

OOC- okay.

 

Rei winced. "Yeah, I do it all the time." He smiled a bit.

Dai groaned and blinked her eyes open. I can't keep doing that... It's becoming too much...

 

Akito saw that Dai was waking up. "Dai, are you okay?" He asked again.

Becky smiled and pulled her hand away, the wound healed to the best of her ability.

 

Dai sat up. "I will be." She added softly, "Not that you care."

"Thanks." Rei said. "That'll do for now. Though I'm sure Kairuto will be sore."

OOC: bbl dinner

 

Akito smiled. "What makes you think I don't care?" He asked.

Becky nodded. "Yeah... You both should probably get some rest..." She said.

 

Dai rubbed her head. "You threw away Becky-chan, who's to say who's next?"

Rei looked over at Akito and Dai. Seems she'll have to tell me another time. Good thing for Kairuto... He looked back at Becky. "Let's go before something else happens." His wings appeared, still injured but capable of flight.

 

Akito looked down. "Well, I can't exactly deny that..." He said. And I kind of feel that I did the wrong thing... He thought, but didn't say that.

Becky nodded and stood up. "Good idea," She said. Hmm... I wonder if I can fly without carrying people... She thought.

 

"Of course not." Dai stood and retrieved Wizard from his hiding place.

Rei spotted Wizard. "Looks like my old partner has found a new interest." He murmured. "Can you fly on your own?" He asked Becky.

 

Becky looked over at Wizard. Old partner? She thought and then looked back at Kairuto. "Yeah, I think so..." She said.

Akito stood up.

 

"Leave me be." Dai said, cradling Wizard and starting to walk to her room.

"I'll give you a start then." Rei took Becky's hand and rose, leaving the Hiwatari's house.

 

Akito shrugged. "Fine..." He said and walked away.

Akari crossed her arms, standing on a nearby tree branch. So he just let them leave? Interesting... She thought and smirked. She'd been watching everything that was going on.

Becky left the Hiwatari's house with Rei. She flapped her wings a few times, going a little higher. She smiled. Flying's more fun when you're not trying to dodge an attack... She thought.

 

Rei glided, moving his wings as little as possible. I still wonder what she wanted to say...

Dai shut the door to her room and set Wizard on her bed. This has to end soon... It's becoming too much for everyone...

 

OOC: *hits face on keyboard* dang it! i keep missing good parts! XP

BIC: Panzela ran back to them as soon as she saw Anthony was inside. He's going to get hurt in this and i'm not going to forgive myself. she predicted glumily, as she ran past the tree Akari was in.

 

OOC- *gives ice* ^-^ It's okay... I'll make something interesting happen... :P

Akari noticed Panzela run by and smirked. She looked back towards Anthony's house. So she's trying to keep him safe? Well, no harm in causing a bit of chaos... She thought to herself and chuckled as she ran swiftly and silently towards Anthony's house.

Becky smiled and giggled as she flipped over in the air.

Once Anthony had gotten home, he walked into the kitchen and smiled when he saw his mom busily making dinner. He decided not to disturb her and headed off to his room.
