Why do you like Keyblades?

I find the concept of a keyblade somewhat comical.

A giant key that chooses who can carry it around and has the ability to unlock and lock everything, including worlds and hearts, and is also a handy and powerful weapon in battle, conviently allowing you to do magic as well.


But I love it anyways. What are RPG's for?

Like many have said: it's an original idea. I also agree with many other points people have brought up.
I like almost everything magical and the Keyblade can also do more than just cruelly kill everyone around you (it does that too...).
But most of all: I love keys! They are something people have relied on for so many years (and are becoming more and more unreliable as the locks are easy to brake... haven't tried, though). Such a small (or in Keyblade's case: not so small) item that can open doors and... look so beautiful. I'm taking about old-fashioned ones in that beautiful-comment.

 

I like them because they're unique. Not many people ould have thought of beating the c**p out of things with a key. xD
Plus they can unlock any lock and have loads of Awesome designs.

 

I like them because they are the most unique weapons I've ever known. Not only do you se them to fight,you also use them to seal Keyholes.

 

I like them because only certain people can wield them, they are rare and do different things. You feel special when you're holding one (I think anyway)

 

Keyblades are weapons for people who need extra power. Instead of a sword, you get a sword that uses both black and white magic, as well as some Space magic, unlock/lock anything, can't be stolen, and can be summoned at any time.

I stick to normal swords, myself.

 

Well I Like The Keyblades Because As You Acquire Each One, Each One Is Someone Different From The Last And It Also Relates To The World In Which You Got It From.. Also Because As Your Striking Enemies, If You Notice, When Attacking The Little Bits That Fly Off Each Time You Hit, They Become Different With Every Keyblade.

 

I don't. They're FRICKING HEAVY.
