Why do girls envy snobs?

Thats easy! Snobs are usually rich, spoiled, good looking pretty boys. There for snob = cah and/or good looks.

 

I don't pretty much get it either... but I do believe it has something to do with jealousy. The background the snobs get is pretty good I must say, but gosh-- their attitudes... >.<

It's worse where I live, not only do the girls hate the snobs but so does every average person. I wouldn't say they envy the snobs they probibly are just annoyed at how they can get anything they want like a baby would when they require milk.

 

Yeah, but you know inside, they are jealous. They want everything they want, and want the snob to feel like how they feel. It's like a Disney Movie. What's it called? Ohh I know: The Prince and The Puaper. And Aladdin. They're all the same pretty much.

Coz I was once sat behind some snobs in a pantomine I went to and they made a Bo' Selecta joke on stage and the snobs infront where all like, whats Bo' Selecta? It must be a kids show XD (for those who have never heard of Bo' Selecta it's a show that used to be on where a guy would have these parodies of celebraties using weird masks, not for kids)

 

I think it depends completely on how you view yourself and how you compare yourself to others.

I do not envy snobs.But I do hate how they can be.I really don't worry about them and there are a lot of people like this at my school.That's one reason why I really don't enjoy my school.I try my best to avoid them.​

 

I think it is a little generalistic to say girls envy snobs, not all of them do.

I personally don't envy them, I do however feel sorry for them.​

 

I don't envy those types of pepole at all. They don't have anything worth envying.

 

There are people (both boys and girls) that group around snobbish sorts of people. It enables some people to become really rotten to others and to get others to do things for them. Why?

Because it's very hard in school and some business places even to tell the difference between someone who is 'arrogant' versus someone with 'self-confidence'. I think most people would like to hang around someone who is self-confident and motivated to live life strong and well. However, when self-confidence is tainted by someone being self-absorbed instead, we run into snobs and jerks. These people may still be energized and have some qualities we can like, but also bad ones, but some people will still hang around them anyway because it's seen as cool.

I can't generalize and say girls do this alone because I know plenty of guys that do it too. I suppose the thing in the end to know is whether someone is a nice person but self-confident versus someone who's a self-absorbed arrogant prick or betch. I'd always choose the self-confident sort and try to be that myself because I like people and certainly don't want to go around harming others to inflate my ego. Being strong doesn't mean being a pig-headed person, but I think a lot of people do like to hang around someone they view as a strong sort. After all, we are social creatures and we do spread our moods and temperaments about. If someone smiles, we may smile. If someone is fun, we may have more fun, etc. Snobby people tend to have an aura that means they can have 'fun' and also no one wants to be on the receiving end of one of their cut downs because it can ruin your day, week, month...depending how bad the insults are.

So maybe some 'fear' promotes it. The desire to fit in and well, confusion on what self-confidence is and that we don't really 'need' snobs to fill in the gaps of our lives. I probably made little sense here but hope someone understood what I was getting at. >.>

 

Since I'm a girl, I think I can reply to this. Girls envy the snobbish ones, mostly because those type of girls are popular, and pretty and stuff. I used to envy this one girl because she had nice clothes... But that was when I was eight. I don't anymore, or I do absentmindedly. My friends and I have given up on trying to be like the populars and we've moved on. xD

Ummm If you want me to be honest, I am in the middle at my school, I am permitted to wear preppy and or/ pac sun clothes which maybe viewed as punky, but I'm not.

 

They are insecure and probably just doing it because their parents abuse them.

Thats what my dad says anyway...

 

I don't really get the question...but if what I'm getting out of the question is true, then I'm guessing it's because snobs are popular...even though I'm not sure I even know the true definition of snob...

 

It's not so much that I envy them. They just don't deserve their popularity. They are just eye candy. Those kids come down HARD later in life.
If I do envy them, its because they have what they don't deserve. If they lived like me for a week they would slit their wrists and jump off a building because they couldn't kill themselves fast enough.​
