Obvious possibilities: 1. Moffat is lying 2. IMDB is lying 3. Rose and Susan are related 4. The writing team is lazy 5. It's a placeholder name 6. It's a false name in-series
I'm betting it's a lie, they did say they had an episode called something weird about Dinosaurs and it had John Simm as The Master returning. That turned out to be a lie. Also, on Jenna Louise-Coleman's page it says she played in Doctor Who in "2005" which is obviously not true...
That said, Freema Agyeman appeared in one episode before she began playing Martha Jones, so it's possible. Unlikely, but possible.
Well yes, as did Karen Gillan but I mean it lists the #7.6 episode (6th episode from the 7th series) in 2005 which feels a bit iffy to me.
Didn't know Karen played any roles before Amy Pond. But yeah, it's probably not the real name. And personally I don't care if it is, because more than one person in England is going to have "Tyler" as their family name.
I think it's false information. Immediately, when I looked at the name, it sounded like it might be a name of Rose's daughter because 1) Rose probably ended up marrying the meta-crisis Doctor in alternate universe. 2) They probably had a kid, and the Not!Doctor might've wanted to name a girl Susan after his granddaughter, who probably doesn't exist in that universe and is probably dead in ours. I'm really hoping this one is wrong because as much as I love Rose, I don't really want her to come back again. I also thought of the possiblitity that it could actually be a regeneration of Susan herself, under a different last name. However, until proven by reliable sources, I'm going to take that name as false. Hell, it might just be there as a placeholder or something.
To me any news is good news. I don't care about the last names, it actually makes me more likely to watch so I can find out why that's her name
I'm not entirely sure I'm trusting to this. IMDB isn't always wrong about this stuff, but it's hard to actually believe them on things unless the stuff is already out. Otherwise I find they get their information wrong quite a few times. Not too mention, if Rose had a sister, don't you think we would have been noted? Although, I'm not going to completely shut down this info, because other sites have had the same news, so I'm just going to go into denial for a while
