Who here plays DDR?

I play it when I go on holiday in the arcade but it's called Euro Dance Stage Remix if I remember right and I mainly pick a song called Candy since it's catchy

 

I am on heavy and the song I like the most is Max 300 on X2 speed.

fyi - speed modifiers are THE GAY. Play for realz yo.

Once you start getting better I found that the best way to improve overall skill is tsugaru on heavy, great overall skill song. =)

 

I love doing standard but some heavy sometimes. And a couple challenge songs. My fave songs are:

butterfly
interjection
dive

 

I play on heavy, some on challenge, I usually play songs from In The Groove: Romeo & Juli8, Dawn, Zodiac, Anubis, My Favourite Game, Mellow. Love 'em!

Some good light songs... well depends on what game you play. I learned on DDR Max playing Ordinary World, great light song! Other than that I'd do My Generation and Look to the Sky for other good light songs. ^_^

(My fiancé used to co. own a gaming center and had Stepmania hooked up to a 20 ft. projection screen with metal Cobalt Flux pads, so so nice! I did/do a lot of practice there!)

Man, I die on that song. My stamina went down the tube after this last winter.

 

Oh wow, everyone is on a better difficulty level then me. XD Damn it.

Actually, to be honest, I can't get past Standard. I've been on it forever. >.<

I play on Heavy mode. Basically I can play any song on Heavy except some of the new ones on SuperNova.

Damn straight.

These are just FEW of the great songs that are my favorite and on the "you can get better from" list. And they draw in an even bigger crowd.

But yeah. Been playing for 3/4 years now (since the middle of 7th grade I think, and I'm now a Junior in HS).

It took me forever to get out of standard mode, I still dabble in there though because some standard steps are better. ^_~ Like on Starmine.

 

You know, I've actually never played DDR in my life. But I would imagine I would be bad at it because I only have enough coordination to do marching band, and that's not much. I would die trying to do as well as a lot of the people I see at the arcade. I love watching people play, though.
