Who did you prefer?

Who did you prefer as the VA for Xehanort's Heartless/Ansem? Personally, I preferred Billy Zane. His voice fit the role so much better. I wince every time I hear Richard Epcar as Ansem. He doesn't seem to put as much emotion into his lines as Billy Zane did. I still remember being annoyed when I found out he wasn't going to be in KH2, and I felt the same for Re:CoM.

Well, enough of me talking. What do you guys think?​

 

I thought Epcar did a lot better of a job in Re:Com then he did in KH2, but Zane IS Ansem to me. He was the perfect voice for Ansem.

 

Billy Zane has the better voice, no doubt. So much more menacing.

 

Definitely KH1. I was so sad when I heard his Re:CoM voice xD

 

KH1 for sure...

 

Zane for sure.

Zane did waayyy better then the other dude. The other one shouldn't have gotten paid in moldy lasagna O.o

 

Billy Zane just has the voice that made me believe that Ansem was a bad dude. So Billy Zane by a mile.

 

Zane was a lot better. Plus the fact that he was in Titanic was pretty cool.

Yeah,I say that B Zane was better.His voice made Kh1 epic,and creepy whenever he appears.BZ FTW

 

I prefer Billy Zane. Firstly, he was the original. The original is always better. Secondly, it fit the character more, with the way he said things and the amount of emotion in what he said.

 

Billy Zane has an awesome voice!

 

Definatly Zane,he gave the feeling that he was evil and had power.

 

Zane sounded a lot better than Epcar, pretty much for the reasons everyone stated.

 

Billy was better. He just sounded more evil.

 

they both matched ansem to me so it doesnt matter to me.

 

I usually stick by the original of anything, but for this, I think both of them were alright. I didn't love or hate either of them. ^.^

 

Richard Epcar would be my pick. His voice was so perfect that I couldn't ignore the change. Epcar did seem to overact though, but in a good way.

 

Billy Zane was the right choice 2 use, he just suited the role
