As of yet, an actual cause of death is still unknown, although it may turn out to be related to the drug use the article mentions.

First Amy Winehouse, now Whitney Houston.
    This is sad. Really sad.
Drugs are dangerous, obviously, but you never quite realise how bad it is until things like this reach your ears.
I was a fan of her singing. She will definitely be missed.

I only just heard about this. It's so sad to see someone's life ruined by drug abuse, and this was undoubtedly related to such an early death.

Tragic stories like this seem to be everywhere nowadays.

Watched it on CNN about a half hour ago.
If this keeps happening they will have enough dead celebrities to make a montage for anti-drug commercial.

She was still so young and was such a great singer...it's truly sad :(

Just heard about her today at work. I'm really upset to see that she has passed away. Still young and talented, she didn't deserve this. RIP Whitney and all my prayers to her family and friends.

Someone dying is always sad, so her family has my condolences. However, let this be a lesson to people: Don't do drugs!

Ruined by drug abuse? More like sad to see she ruined her life herself.

Anyway, this is my first time hearing about this lady (but I have seen The Bodyguard movie)

    I guess it's still sad.

... I feel absolutely awful. I was taking the train downtown and one of the stops has a screen for tracking the schedule, weather, headlines, etc. I noticed Whitney Houston's name in one of them, and though "Oh my God, did she die?" Nope, it was about her being considered for a X-factor judge. Six hours later, I heard that she really had died.

My condolences to her family, especially her daughter.

I couldn't believe the News this morning, I had to ask my Step Dad three times if it was true, much to his annoyance, I was hoping it was some type of twisted prank.. Sadly it isn't.

My condolences to her family, may she rest in peace.

It's just awful that she is gone,as her voice was just beautiful. My condolences to her family and friends.
