*note to self* Wait for poll to be created before posting on thread... I'll edit this once the poll is added. XD

EDIT: Well, this post is utterly useless since I've never heard of either of those songs. Sorry.

Neither. They both demonstrate how far today's standards for what hip hop really is have dropped. It's like selling a 3 month olds macaroni picture to a bunch of ******s that can't tell good art from shiet. If you enjoy either you deserve to be shot and spat on for thinking you like music.

And you enjoy the screaming and whining of rock n' roll but say just because others have different tastes than you that they deserve to be shot and spat on. Thats the most ignorant thing I have ever heard.

And for the record, 'Soulja Boy' is not a song.

No I have a preference for all music, which also includes good hip hop. I like the raw sound of Atmosphere, the honesty of Kanye West, The in-your-face sound of Dr. Dre, Common, and other real artists. You've simply misconstrued my post. I was referring to those two garbage songs and about 70% of what most people think should count as hip hop. To quote Nas in a sense "Hip hop is dead". There was nothing ignorant in my post, I was merely pointing out that there are ******s that think anything can count as hip hop, or music for that matter. I suggest you re-read my post again.

    agreed.

no offence, but whoever listens to Soulja Boy needs to read the lyrics because they are crap.

Some of soulja boy's lyrics are actualy meant to be funny, the stupid kind of funny. Two examples are Yah ***** and Report Card. And also, his music is generaly meant for dance, when your dancing and not really listening. And you DID say something ignorant. You clearly said anyone who enjoys that kind of music should be shot and spat on. So any one who may be dancing to it and seemingly enjoyed it should be shot and spat on? Anyone who listens to "report card" or "yah *****" for some enjoyable laughs should be shot? Thats ignorant. And I agree with what you said about hip hop being dead, even the hip hop artists know that, but the majority of them make the same old music because it sells whether you like it or not. Blacks, Whites, Mexicans, and many more different people enjoy it. So now if you had a friend who liked this type of music, you would wish for them to be shot and spat on?

Granted I may have used an over zealous figure of speech. Now that I look back it's harshness was obviously up for little interpretation. But if we're going to get on the topic of ignorance neither of us is really fit to stand on a soap box regarding the matter. You yourself de-repped me with homosexually derogative slur. So there, neither us of really has gained anything.

True. This is pointless. Honestly, I have no problem with you and would like to say that I'm sorry for over reacting.
