What would happen if the internet suddenly disappeared?

I have a feeling that In a year or so, there would be a huge baby-boom.

 

really why do you think that? because people would have nothing better to do? But if the internet did vanish the people who wouldn't be having children because of the internet still wouldn't be able to get some.... in a manner of speaking...

 

It would force people to go out and socialize :)

 

Governments would collapse. Internet Service Providers would go bankrupt. Large corporations would be forced to resort to much more inefficient means of communication. In short, the world would be thrown into chaos.
