What were you for Halloween?

And I don't just mean this year, like, for as far back as you can remember, what were you for halloween? Here's my list:

When I was 2, I was a sunflower.
3, I was a pumkin.
4, I was a pink princess.
5, I... can't remember.
6, I was a pink princess again.
7, I can't remember.
8, I was a cat.
9, I was a pirate.
10, I was Tinker Bell.
11, I was Queen Susan from Narnia.
12, I was a carhop.
13, I was Lady Eowyn from Lord of the Rings.
14, I was a pirate.
15, I was a carhop.
16, I was a pirate.
17, I was the Queen of Hearts.
18, I was a Lady at a Masque Ball.
Next year, I'm going to be an Intergalactic Ninja Vampire Space Pirate.

 

I can't even remember. A knight one year, a ninja the next year. Can't remember all of the things I did.

Never went trick-or-treating, though. Parents wouldn't let me. We went to this alternative Christian thing called a Harvest Bash, and I would always help out with the games. I got totes full of candy, so I'm not complaining. One of them lasted me all year until the next time it came around.

Last year; Zombie (Expensive as hell outfit, bought two pairs of colored lenses)

Yeah, my mom has a rule that we can't go trick or treating once we turn 13, but I still dress up every year. It's the one time of year my family finds cosplay acceptable, I'm not going to pass up the opportunity.
Besides, there's a certain feeling I get when I'm in costume, I feel like I can be myself and no one will judge me, because I'm wearing a mask.
It may not be particularly wise,
but it's a thrill to be disguised.

Was dressed up as a cat against my will when I was 3...
Recent memory says:
15 - Desperado type guy, had an awesome cowboy hat.
16/17 - Gone as Ozzy Osbourne because I have the hair for it, also I had a very limited time to use a costume this year so I didn't bother making a new one.

Lols. In my opinion that's still awesome. Did anyone recognize you? Probably not since kids are probably too little to know about Homestuck....not to mention it's really violent and gory at times....probably better that they don't know about Homestuck yet. Keyword yet. Andrew Hussie's myth will spread. It will soon be a rite of passage to teenhood....or rather mature teenhood...actually how about adulthood. It will be a necessary thing to be familiar with in college.

 

Well, I spent most of Halloween night at a party, so most of the people there knew at least what Homestuck was. One of my friends was a Homestuck character too, so I wasn't alone.
