What pisses me off about rap is the lack of creativity, style, or entertainment. I don't want to sit down and listen to "I'm hot/ I'm hot/ I'm hot cause you fly/ I'm hot cuz you not."

It's terrible. It makes no sense. I mean, those aren't the actual lyrics but it's still a load of crap. All the songs sound the same. The only one I have any respect for is Akon, as he used the chord progression form blink 182's What's My Age Again? in his song Don't Matter.

 

...I don't like how a lot of the songs are about stupid, unimportaint things....

 

What I don't like about rap:

1. M and M really shouldn't rap...
2. I don't like hearing about women's butts and breasts.
3. The men singing are freakin' ugly!
4. The music gets boring after a while....

It's called "crunk". It is derived from the type of music that they play in clubs - songs that you just DANCE to. Now ask yourself - if you're in a club dancing to music, would you take the time to scratch your head about the frickin' lyrics?!

No. All you want is a good beat. And that's all they really do in crunk songs.

BUT there are many other types of rap - more intellegent kinds. Listen to those, I and I promise you you will feel differently about the whole thing.

Moving on, @ 2Foxie4U: in rap, every beat just sounds the same. And I don't go clubbing, I'm not old enough. Rap, whether the lyrics are the crap that ghetto xemnas posted or any that are half-decent, are killed by a song that is made up of a repeating synthesizer and an equally repeating drumbeat.

I'm all for the music, not the lyrics. Lyrics for me, are usually good, but the lyrics are terrible in rap and there is no music unless you consider that annoying thing from "Yeah" a good riff.

 

I just don't like rap as simple as that.

I listen to lyrics when I'm dancing. :S (I'm too young to go clubbing, but I go to dances.) Honestly, though, when I'm in a dance class and we're dancing to a rap song, I have a lot of problems with the beat... I can't catch onto it, and it's too slow for me. (Even though my friend says rap songs are really fast. O.o) Well, everybody has their own opinion. And plus, even though I don't like the beat and such, I have heard an actual intelligent rap song before. (;​

Most rappers, who the creater must be talken about that you usualy see on BET. Ok, let me clarrify. The reason most of those rappers are hated because A. They like to rhyme, which oddly kindergarden aged girls like to do as well. B. They constantly talk about making people there *****. C. They usualy have there pants unbottend and hanging down low around other men. D. They where pink. E. They usualy wear there "bling bling", which really is a way to lore little boys and girls into a sex scandle. F. They are always showing off muscles. G. All of these things point to the fact that all the rappers who think that they are "gangsta", are really just gay people tryen to make a living. That is why most people hate them, lol
