What is it you find attractive in a guy/girl?

I wouldn't count your appearance as who you are exactly.
If your mind was in a different body, you'd still be you, mostly anyways.
But I can understand what you're saying.

 

See? That's what I meant about consideration. I don't really mind too much, since you still do the staff job correctly,and above that are very level headed, but it's like you just leap at the opportunity to strike.

Most of my the reminder was regarding this thread, and how there really is no need to exploit a misunderstanding, and much less give out...awards.

Oh, hey that's a good example to use. Let's say you're a very blunt person, and your partner asks you to tone it down. It doesn't mean he doesn't love you the way you are, but if both learn-one to accept and the other to change- then it works out.

 

Erm... so, to contribute to the actual topic of the thread, when it come to girls, I have a couple of specific things in mind: similar interests, chemistry, and ease of conversation. If those three things are present, I could really date just about any girl.

What I like in a girl is intelligence and a strong will. Ideally I'd want her to "complement" me.
As far as looks go I'm a tricky one, since I find my "type" very hard to describe. Therefore I won't give it a try.

I'm turned off by anyone "cutesy". And more importantly even; I won't stick long with women who clip my wings more than they should.
And last but not least, I hate it when people are overly concerned and feel they should hold my hand through anything I do. In other words, Mother Hen need not apply.

Attractive:

• Personality. I won't say a good personality, because that's a matter of perspective, but... someone who can talk to me, have a sense of humour, and isn't a complete downer. Also, someone who has similar opinions, but I can still have a healthy debate with.
• The eyes.
• Suitibly proportioned (read: not fat for their height, but not horribly skinny)
• A great talker.
• Long Hair, maybe in a ponytail. OK, that last bit isn't necassarily important, but I have a thing for long hair.

These are really just specifics, but there's not a lot I find unattractive, other than three things: High and mighty, distrusting, and make-up. It's a huge turn off for me personally. I'm not adverse to it being used, but as long as the person using it doesn't look like a complete tart (which unfortunatly most girls I know are like. Call it bad experience or whatever).

 

For some reason, I find it really attractive if a girl can kick my ass. Seriously.
A girl scores pretty high if she practices an instrument, too.

And of course, just a nice, sweet, spontanious girl who you can talk with. Someone who understands you when you have a problem, someone who you can laugh with...

And a redhead, I love redheads.

 

A girl who has a nice personality, some of the same interests whilst having some unique interests, has a kind face.

To be honest, I could write an essay bullshitting some answer, but the truth is, I don't know what I find attractive/unattractive.

I'll meet a guy and I'll think "oh now he is rather delicious", or I'll see another and think "I'll pass on that one", but what I find attractive in one person I wouldn't neccessarily find attractive in another. Same with personality and character traits. What I find attractive in one person's personality, I may dislike in someone elses.

 

Ditto. Also a girl who has a love for ugly geeks and cartoons (and I don't mean anime, brudda). =D

 

What I want in a chick

Personaltiy
-Beautiful
-Smart
-Great sense of Humor
-Not too much make makeup
-Long hair. Don't care for color.
-Funny
-A great big sports fan like me.
-Loves me for who I am.

 

I'd go for the eyes... I can stare into a pair all day if i could mwahahaha xD.
Personality wise, someone who...
-Can talk back but knows where the line is.
-Gives me space, especially when I'm down.
-Has a sense of humour.
-Doesn't force me to change.

 

Physically, I find eyes, hair and lips to be extremely attractive. Breasts can sort of fit into this, but that isn't something I always notice right off the bat. Body shape can be important too, since I do have some standards.

In terms of non-physical things, I do like someone who is perceptive and intelligent, and someone who can have a nice discussion and not get upset and make the discussion feel like a debate (or turn it into one, even). Also if they're humorous that's a plus, too.

Appearance;
- I like guys with dark hair and green or blue eyes.
- If they are in shape, that's a plus.
- Nice arms.
- Medium length hair, not too long but not too short.
- And I like baggy clothes.

Personality;
- Must be a gamer, otherwise I want nothing to do with him.
- Have his own interests but share some of my own.
- Thinks cats are cooler than dogs.
- Be able to laugh at himself and be funny in general.
- Have morals.
- I like them to be smart, or atleast good in school.
- Also guys who keep to themselves.

Turn-offs;
- Guys with blonde hair ..
- Talkative
- Flirty.

For some reason I really like guys with Long/Long-ish hair.. brown/dirty blonde is my favourite =]

And (most people think I'm weird for this but) I really like skinny guys xD not TOO skinny, of course.. but not muscular x__x

Personality-wise..
I like geek/rebel types who really don't care what anyone thinks of them..
and my Ideal guy should also be one of those people you could sit for HOURS just talking to about anything and everything~ He should be smart and funny~

There are quite a few things I want to find in a girl:
-Long hair (not too long)
-Blue eyes
-Nice body
-Asian (...what? I like Asian girls :D)

Now Personally:

-Truthful (hate lying cheating girls)
-Smart
-Helping hand person
-Has a good sense of humor
-Doesn't ask for a lot of things

That's basically it. I'm VERY picky when it comes to girl choice.

 

Physical:

Eyes- no particular preference, but if they are an unusual color it can be quite attractive.

Hair- any colour but I prefer brown-so-dark-its-black. Dyed black is sweet. Dyed blonde is blagh, but natural is ok. As for length, I'm not fussy so long as its not really short. Really long hair is hot.

'Assets'- To be honest, I find large breasts annoying, I prefer medium size.

Fairly good teeth are nice. They don't need to be perfectly straight, I just want to know I won't get my tounge stuck.

Pale skin is nice. I am inclined more toward girls of my own ethnicity, but if I met a girl who was exceptional of another race I wouldn't care. HATE FAKE TAN. INSTANT TURNOFF.

Personality:

-Intelligence. Very important. They don't have to be the female version of Einstein, but I wouldn't be able to stand someone who can barely follow a conversation.

-Atheist or Agnostic. Maybe Buddhist. Or Pagan, they seem cool.

-Interest in my kind of music (Mainly metal, and all the things that go with- clothing, etc.)

-A girl who not only tolerates video games, but will play them herself. Oh. Yeah.

-Doesn't smoke or do drugs- major ew.

-Not afraid to have a drink every now and then, but doesn't overdo it or binge drink.

-Not afraid to experiment sexually.

-Doesn't take herself too seriously.

-Good sense of humour. Dark sense of humour is extra bonus.

-Someone I feel Ican talk to if I feel down or need some help.

-If I'm being an A-hole without realising or doing something wrong, she'll tell me so we can resolve the issue.

So as you can see, I am rather choosy. But considering we're talking about potentialy life-long partners, you have to get it right.
