"Really." he said. "That's odd." He continued eating. "Oh, do you want anything to drink?"

 

"No, thanks." Mila continued to eat.

 

"Alright." he said, grabbing a diet DrPepper for himself. He continued eating and took a sip of it.

 

Mila stared at him and sighed, a memory flooding her mind.

Seventeen year old Mila stood by her door, ready to leave for collage. Her mother appeared.

'Mila, please understand.....'

'What? You want me to become like you?! No way, I'm outta here!'

She swung the door open and was about to run when her father shouted. 'Mila, it's for your own good!' She ran out the door.

 

He saw that something was troubling her. He got up, walked over to her, got down on his knees, and hugged her.

 

Mila was surprised by what happened. She felt herself blush.

 

John was also blushing, but continued to hug her.

 

Mila slowly wrapped her arms around him.

 

He looked into her eyes, their faces an inch apart, and blushed.

 

She stared into his eyes and blushed.

 

He started leaning in, but stopped and hesitated before their lips could touch.

 

Mila blushed and looked away.

 

He let go of her and stood up. "S-sorry." he said, blushing furiously and looking away.

 

"Its alright." Mila sighed and smiled.

 

He sat back down and finished eating, so embarassed, he couldn't even look at her.

 

Mila continued to eat her food.

 

He finished off his drink and got up to clean his dishes.

 

Mila stood up to clean her dishes.

 

He held out his hand for her dishes. "Sit back and relax." he said. "You're my guest."

 

Mila handed him her dish and sat back down.
