Axel looked at Demyx who had jumped in front of him. How could the ninth member show up now? It was very confusing to him. Demyx was the one who didn't give a damn about him especially when he tried to offer him food and ignored him. Now he was standing up for him? "Demyx why are you defending me? The boss sees me as a traitor and he doesn't care if I won a victory for this organization or not. You shouldn't even being talking to me. He spoke to Xenmas carefully. "I was overwhelmed and cornered. My instinct was to fight so that is what I did. You were right though. I never gained anything upon sacrificing my death. I can't change the past, but perhaps the future which I have done recently." He looked at Xambla. "I don't think he remembers much from his past. He is Xenmas not Ansem."

 

"We are dead men axel. No one cares in the affairs of the dead. Do what you wish, I have no need for you nor you of me."

xemnas returned to walking down the staircase.

 

makes gunblades and motorcycle dissapear "man.... what happens now Axel" he said looking towards Axel

 

"I'm going to give you all hope." Demyx felt defeated that Axel wasn't listening to him. He also sensed the other guy that made him glare at him. "I'll never understand you Axel. Call me what you want, but I'm not about to become a traitor and nor will I ever become one," he looked away and ran after the boss. He didn't know what else to do for he was lost and confused.

 

"I STILL HAVE MY MEMORIES." Axel shouted back and bit alarmed and upset that Demyx would take Xenmas side over his. "I thought you were my friend." He called after Demyx. "No, he hates me too...." he thought to himself. He didn't know what to do now. He was feeling more hurt now, but kept it to himself. Either these phantom emotions were real or not. It was how he had felt. He turned towards Xambla though he was deeply confused. "You can do what you want. I need to be alone." He said to him.

 

"if thats what you want.....wish i could help...." he said summoning his bike and slowly drifting off into the dark parts of the underworld"sigh....."

 

"You are my friend and it doesn't have to be this way. I just have to be loyal to him because that's all I know," he sadly answered to the red head. "Axel please can we talk. I don't want it to be this way."

 

Axel watched Xambla leave as the fire wielder saw that Demyx had came back to talk to him. "Demyx, you realize that your element can kill me. One of my biggest fears is fighting against you in this tournament. But if you want to talk that is fine with me. The boss doesn't trust me and if asked you to betray me would you?" He asked looking at him seriously.

 

"man....Now i got myself woundering.... who are MY real friends....."he said woundering further and further into the dark caves, not knowing whom his actuall fris are, and suddenly remembering how it feels to be alone, sad, and cold in the dark, sigh, " I spose maybe i'll jut sleep here....oh well, wouldnt be the first time....as I recall...."sets bike up and lays down on the seat, bike still drifting into the darkness as Xambala falls rememberg sadly as how he felt before becoming a nobody, a tear suddenly drops from face as he goes to sleep

 

Xemnas looked back at his two former subordinates.

"Demyx, come. Axel, there is something I must warn you about."

 

Axel looked at Xenmas for a minute. "Okay, what do you need to warn me about?" He was curious to know what he needed to know and gave him his full attention.

 

"you're next opponent will be tough no matter which one it is. One controls fog, vaporized water. However, you can you heat waves to keep the vapor at bay. The other can be damaged by your attacks, but that doesn't make him any less dangerous. He is a madman thorough and thorough. He is a fairly seasoned fighter from what I've heard. This isn't his first tournament. What he did to larxene would be considered merciful if you read his track record. They call him the manic gladiator. Remember that."

 

Axel listened carefully to Xenmas. "Yes, I will remember that. Do you know their names? And why are you telling me?" He wondered if they were the one fighters that Axel had witnessed in the matches against Marluxia and Larxene.

 

"The fog user is Xeol, the lunatic is Gexlion. I expected you to have paid close enough attention flurry. The reason I tell you is because of my pseudo pride. You are no longer a member of the organization. It doesn't even exist, but I want those I have chosen worthy to still show superiority, even after death."

 

a rock hit Xambalas head,waking him up "ow, what the?" looks around the place and sees hardly anything but darkness "****, where the hell am I now?.....EF this I'm getting outta this cubicle "makes a dark void appear, and appears neer the battle dome building "hmm....I wonder what would happen if I made that wish for myself....will anybody miss me? probably not....ah well..." makes bike dissapear, and leans against wall arms crossed....."that last match of mine was so unfare......" a trained my ass off and i still get the boot...."

 

"Yes, I did witness their fights. I just wanted to make sure they were the same two fighters you were talking about. I will do my best, but I must ask are you participating in this tournament as well?" Axel asked Xenmas as he had made friends with Xeol and was aware of his power, but the other guy Gex was the cocky one who seem to have alliegience to anyone that he knew. They would both be handled with caution.
