"I know Demyx, but unfortantely that is not the case," He patted him on the back as if due to comfort. "No matter what happens, we can always have a rematch," He stated thinking of fighting a bit afterwards depending on the result. He knew Demyx didn't want to fight him, but what choice did they have?

 

"I'm not going to say it..." the dragon said and then looked in the arena "friends against friends it looks like this fight will be interesting and hard to see"

Braxen had two guards show the two competitors to the ring

 

"Unlike you, I don't follow pathetic fake feelings." Ryxan whispered to Axel as Axel was lead to the arena.
So he think's he can beat me....and of course, I don't feel mad. I don't even know what being mad is....he thought. I'm luckier...a person blind with rage runs blindly into his death.

 

Mixt allowed Gex to wail on him but took his sword and stabbed upwards.

 

the blade pierced deep into his chest cavity puncturing several organs. Gex truly was back. Grabbing the blade, gex jumped backwards and took his friend's weapon along for the ride.
pulling it out savagly by the hilt, gex readied for his next attack.

 

Mixt bowed, taunting Gex into making an attack.

 

Charging, Gex swung the heavy blade and made a cavernous gash in his chest plate.

 

Mixt caught the blade before it made contact leaving deep wounds in his hands. With a menacing grin Mixt slowly said "Blood Burn" and the blade became engulfed in flames.

 

the flames danced and flew and cinders chared gex's hand and set his hair ablaze. Using all his strength, the madman sent the flaming piece of metal deep into mixt's shoulder.

 

Mixt grabbed the hilt of his sword with his left mechanical arm and squeezed Gex's hand with it's crushing grip. "Are you trying to get me a second mechanical arm Gex?"

 

At that moment, Gex pulled of his thumb. Soon a ticking could be heard.

"As a matter of fiction, I am."

A bing was heard and mixt's arm dissolved into a storm of shrapnel.

 

Axel was surprised that the guards were there escorting him and Demyx to the ring. It was a very uncomfortable feeling to fight Demyx, one of his best closest friends, but if it was the only way to move on then it would have to do. All he knew that it was going to be hard knowing that his fire techniques would have to be avoided to some extent when Demyx would use his water. He waited patiently. However what Ryxan had whispered to him bothered him. "Pathetic fake feelings?"Was this guy like Xenmas or was it an act to provoke him. Either way Axel would worry about him later.

 

Taking his place in the arena, he prepared himself to fight his best friend and there was no way to prevent this from happening. Of all people why did it have to be Axel? He waited for the fire wielder to get ready as he waited in the shadows.

 

Axel made it to the arena as well. He didn't hide in the shadows though. He was going to have to go easy on the water wielder at first. Fight like he would do so. "Demyx, you dont' need to hide in the shadows," he glanced at him. The fire wielder stretched his legs a bit and then arms as he was finally ready to fight.

 

With no one holding the sword the sword went flying away in the explosion and Mixt recoiled backwards. As soon as Mixt regained his balance he went running for the sword.

 

aiming just ahead of mixt, gex opened his maw and fired all 32 of his teeth at his foeish friend.

 

Mixt attempted to dive and roll through the shots but to little effect. Mixt ignored the pain and picked up the sword with his only arm.

 

"I'm waiting for our fight to begin." He said stepping out of them and standing in front face to face of who would now be his opponent. Getting close to his face, he whispered something in his ear. "Axel no matter who wins promise me that there will not be any fatalities on either your or my part."

 

Kexant walked forward "brother.... you will fight to the death to retain your honor or i will kill you both at my blade... it is time to begin" he said , signaling the start of the fight
