Welcome to the under dome continued

Wasting no time, Gex deconstructed his tower of boned and fired them at the alchemist. Like a gatling gun, the madman blanketed the field. There was no way that he could miss.

 

Mixt ran but his pattern was strange, it seemed like he wasn't running from the bones but from something else entirely. Because of this he got hit repeatedly. He had allready sustained more dammage than he wanted to and was losing blood fast. Unlike Gex however Mixt never seemed to feel pain while he was in combat, it was just that his body would stop working as well as it did at the begining. The pain all came to him later.

 

This was getting boring. All he suffered from today was a broken collar bone. his simply won't do. Closing his fist, Gex made a bone cage around his opponent.

"Come on mixt, I'm dissapointed."

 

Mixt used his own blood to write an alchemy circle on one of the bones making up the cage. Mixt broke the bones down into calcium and phosphorus dust giving the effect of a faintly glowing fog. Without a moments hesitation Mixt started back on his route even though there was no longer an immediate threat.

 

"woah, flashy. However this won't save you."

Landing on the ground, Gex charged after Mixt. Something was wrong, he knew it. Mixt was smarter than this. Was it a trap? Man, he hoped so. Winning didn't matter anymore. All that mattered was his pain.

 

Suddenly Mixt ascended into the center of the arena and snapped his fingers, the trail of blood becoming an alchemy circle. The ground of the arena trembled and quickly looked as if it was boiling below him as it bacame darker and darker. When it was done the ground had the appearence of diluted tar, but the smell was worse if anything. Mixt was done waiting on Gex.

 

Tar? TAR!? How dare he, how dare he rob Gex of his prize. Unexcuseable.

In a berserker fashion, Gex threw his blad right at mixt's head.

 

Mixt wasn't sure if it would be strong enough to end the match but this was definately going to hurt like hell. Held out his left hand and Gex's blade pierced straight through it. Mixt then lowered his impaled left hand and raised his right hand. "Blood Burn" Mixt snapped his fingers and Mixt sword caught fire, ignighting the arena. The alcohol in the solution made the fire spread increadably fast while the tar kept it burning long.

 

Gex's eyes snapped open wide. Fire, burning?
the surprise turned back into one of his smiles. So, he really wasn't going to stiff him. Watching the flames race towards him, Gex made a final move. Snapping his fingers, Gex detontated his blade. The blast alone obliterated what was left of mixt's hand, but the resulting shards buried themselves deep into mixt's flesh and face.

 

Mixt recoiled from the strike and fell down into the pit of fire. Mixt made an attempt to fly out but the sticky tar now rendered his wings useless. Luckly his scales gave him minor protection from the flames but it wasn't complete, under the surface his flesh still burned. Dense smoke covered the arena and was making it hard to breath, much less see, but Mixt began to hunt down his sword through the vally of flames.

 

Facing his fate, the flames finally caught up to gex. In that moment, he forgot everything. All he knew now was the burning. The burning and the ability to stream. The fire licked at his close and obliterated his hair. His blood began to turn to steam as the inferno blazed. Howling and wreathing, Gex suffered through this hell, or more likely his heaven.

 

As his wounds were now cauterized his blood transmutations were over. Mixt used a claw of his remaining hand to etch a transmutation circle into what was his left hand before Gex blew it up. This he used to condense the smoke and deposited it as a diamond that slowly sank below the surface of the tar. With the new burst of oxygen things were now clearer for the time being but the fire also grew hotter. In this moment of visabilty Mixt tracked down his sword and picked it up. Now he moved slowly in towards his prey.

 

Yami: i think you feel good cause you at least beat someone..
Hikari: *smiles and gives her a hug* i actually didn't. and it's half Kaze's fault..
Yami: *well what are we waiting for *opens the door* Axel and Xeol are still fighting right? even if you don't want to see it. Kaze still wants to see it.
Hikari: what are you..
Yami: I am connected to you I know about the Axel and Xeol wish thing. Kaze. is part of the organization right? If they wish for the entire organization to come back you will be forced to go because Kaze is inside of you. then you 2 will split up again and each have your own will. I don't mind. Kaze isn't on life debt..
Hikari: so is that saying.. your going to let me go back to life to save Kaze?
Yami: i'll pay off your Debt for you. we will see each other again as soon as you die again. just remember this.. *walks over to Hikari and points at her chest* no matter how small your heart is. i'll still be there.. *grabs hikari's hand and starts running towards the new arena* come on!
Hikari: *allows herself to be pulled*

 

Gex stumbled about, cruching dried tar under his feet as he went. He was trying to escape the flames so he could survive. Finally, he found it, the edge of the arena that wasn't scortched. Falling facefirst, he rolled around in the dust and extinguished the flames.

"I knew it, I just knew it mixt."

 

Although visability was gone again, Mixt could hear Gex leaving the fire. Mixt used hs sword to cut a transmutatin circle in the ground under the tar. He used it to piece his body back to the way it was, though he was still not entirely used to the chimera body so it wasn't quite right. Mostly his body's response time was increased and the scales weren't as hard.

 

Gex poked and prodded his flesh. No pain, no anything. That bittle lastard! He took from him everything that he cared for. From the third degree burn he suffered, he might as well be on morphine.

"You've ruined me mixt, now I have to get serious."

 

Mixt heard this and realized the fire had done its job and would now have minimal effect. Besides the upper level of tar was now crusting so the fire wouldn't last much longer anyway without assistance. Mixt raised the sword over his head and the fire of the arena began to rush inwards and collect into the blade. With a quick pulse Mixt broke the stone off his wings and once again took flight.

Axel watched Xeol in his own little trap and wondered how he was going to get out of it. Smirking a bit the flame thrower summoned up another ball of fire and let it flow down at Xeol. He wanted him to give up soon, it wasn't that the fire wielder was tired, but it was getting hard for him to restrain himself with some of his other abilities. He was sticking by that promise after all and wasn't going to break it.

Xeol was in his own trap he covered himself in fog it saved him from catching on fire. But the heat was still unbearable he looked down at the ground as he was surrounded by darkness it felt so familier.

Amber ran to the seats and she saw what was happening. She was scared she got to the bars and leaned foreward. "Leo pleaze get out of there i dont want to see you suffer" she said as tears fell from her cheeks.

Xeol heard Amber pleading voice he wanted to make her cry it felt worse then losing his heart. He would get out of there and to make it possible for her to be alive.Xeol oppend his eyes as the darkness and the fog dome dissappeard. He stood there as the flames made his uniform turn to ashes and the fog that was covering his body floated away. Xeol looked up at the flurry without a smirk or anything then turned his head looking at Amber. "im sorry about the wait" he said to the man as he got back into his fighting position as 3 fog clones formed beside him.
