To open this, your opinion is important to us. You are just as much a user we are, and everyone's feedback is encouraged.

To g off from that, XenForo introduced quite a few things that were built into the forum software. I don't think RvR or Misty would have intentionally gone "lol let's frig witcha forum gaiz" (okay well maybe RvR). I honestly don't know if they can change any of these (alerts, the social networking stuff on the bottom, etc.), but I do know that things such as a Who's Online and Post Templates can be added -- Misty had searched for mods for all of the add-ons we had in vB, and she picked some of the more important ones off the bat because the process would, and did, take a while.

There have by no means any halt to searching for mods that would be and are useful for everyone that we had in vB. It might take a while though, as the Admins are still working to rebuild the content pages (namely the Audio/Video archives), in addition to the bugs presented by the members, but really thank you for pointing these out, and I guarantee that even if some of these things cannot change, we will try to bring back/add the most that we can.

Trophy points and the shift to followers was also inherent into the XenForo software. We're going to be working to implement trophies somehow (not sure as of yet), but Followers functions the same as the Friend List, it's just a new name.

 

We are aware of the skin/template issues, these we be fixed in time. Same with avatars/vms/sigs etc. We figured we should reopen the forum since those are things that can be worked on without the site being closed.

 

Will tables be fixed? If you take a look at my gaming / timeline thread, you'll see what I mean.

There's also no last edited by in posts or an offline / online icon for users in posts.

 

The tables made in vB are all unfortunately broken. :c

There's a new table function in XenForo, you can find it under "Help" --> "BBCodes"

 

Right, so how do you delete "conversations"?

 

Don't think you can unfortunately. I just went through and couldn't find an option.

However, I think everyone may have an unlimited amount of them? Which is pretty snazzy ngl.

 

That is unfortunate. I wanted to make my inbox all nice and pretty.

 

Inbox --> Conversations --> Click on the Conversation you want to get rid of --> Leave conversation

We need a button to see the last post in a thread. For some reason, the button disappears once you've read a thread.

And now I know some smartass will go all "why you gotta have a button to it if you just read it lol"

 

Already mentioned the status icons in post 64.

Also, regarding users viewing forums or threads, while it works, they all have the normal link color and not their respective user group color.

I WANT to talk to my friends. Like, srsly, PLEASE come up with either a mobile skin or a way to fix this.

BTW, I can do everything just fine on my phone. It's painfully slow though. Hell, it took me 5 minutes to load the forum. It's too big.

- Added a temp solution to show who's online/offline through posts

As for invisible, I think it's still an option of you uncheck "Show online status"

 

Guests can't see sigs. Is this intentional, or a WIP, or something?
