Kingdom Hearts II Was the Organization Evil?

I don't really think we can label them as "evil". No more then we can most other things. At the end of the day, "evil" is nothing more then an idea people like to throw around as an absolute.

 

In my thoughts there intention werent bad for say but the way they obtain the hearts were indeed wrong doing, they could of found a better way of abtaining the hearts

 

theyre misunderstood...they used to have hearts and they wanted them back. they did all they could to get them back and thats y they created Kingdom Hearts. altho, they didnt rly have any need 2 be goin and killing ppl. they just were misunderstood and thats what made them soo evil

 

Their methods are evil. Them wanting to have hearts isn't at all. D:

They're just going about it wrong.​

 

They wanted Hearts, they might have used methods that might have been deemed evil. Though, there goal itself has a chance of not being deemed evil since they all just wanted a Heart.

 

They are most definitely misunderstood. Originally, the idea of wanting their hearts didn't seem like a bad idea at all. As time went on, they became more consumed with darkness and gave in to it, resulting in the whole "I'm trying to cover the worlds with darkness" conformity. They're not bad (can't say people) nobodies. They just wanted what was once thiers returned to them and became involved with too much darkness along the way.

the organization not just lacks of hearts-
they lack of brains.. (sorry for that^^)
what i meant is,, they cannot think properly and have been doing their leader's orders..
like Roxas, theve been given a 'Purpose' to fight the world..
the answer to why is because they have no hearts (at least thats what theyve been told and think for the rest of their life)..

Really, it depends on who you think represents Organization XIII. Xemnas, Axel, Roxas, Demyx, etc. made them seem misunderstood, like they didn't have a choice. They weren't supposed to exist in the first place, so what were they supposed to do?

But then you look at people like Saix and Marluxia, the really evil ones. They're the ones that make the Organization seem evil. >.<

 

i believe they are misunderstood. they just wanted to be whole again. but they were going about it the wrong way ): i think they were just following Xemnas' order & Diz always said that they were never were supossed to exsit. i think being outcast in the worlds. they lost their minds & they were just trying to do whatever it tooked to be loved again...

They were misunderstood. Their motives were clear, their objective was not in the least bad, nor good. How they planned to carry it out was the bad thing. Sora wouldn't have known if Xemnas never fought him at Hollow Bastion, or if the Nobodies hid, lurking in the shadows and staying completely out of sight.

 

They're mostly misunderstood but Marluxia and the gang from castle oblivion (minus Axel) are evil

 

The guys want something genuinely good to them. Killing Heartless to get it isn't bad, either. But Xemnas wanted to "create a new world". Which wasn't so good. So sadly, Sora, Donald, Goofy, The King, and Riku had to stop it. If Xemnas wasn't so screwed up then they woulda been good to go. But Xemnas was evil, trying to use Sora and Roxas to obtain his world. So in the end, due to their leader, the misguided Organization XIII is evil.

all they wanted was to be somebodys and i guess they thought that sora was interfering with that want. so they tried to stop sora from stopping them in which sora probally thought of them as "evil"

 

Misunderstood, they were trying to get hearts to become whole again but sora must thought that they were evil so they tryed to stop sora so they can a heart again and have feeling but sora ended up killing them, so nobody got a heart(not including Roxas)

 

I believe Saix and Xemnas were, but as a whole, the organization was not evil. Even Saix and Xemnas weren't completely evil, but they had bad intentions. The rest of them had a good cause but were being horribly mislead at times, or clouded with their own judgment.

 

Late in KH2 Xemnas said Kingdom Hearts is what they wanted so they may be complete.
So, it's possible they just wanted to be normal. They wanted hearts.
Sora is just kinda one of those main characters that thinks what he is fighting is purely evil.
