"I'm not sure.." he sighed, flicking various switches into the 'on' position and preparing the machine to do the highest frequency ulta-sound scan. "can you...erm..." he gestured towards her top. "pull it up a bit?"

Her hand twitched.

 

she pulled the top up to the top of her massive stomach,she tried not to look at the bruises on her skin

 

he took the pad and lightly brushed it over the purple marks on her skin. "again... only one..."

"one..." she mumured.

 

are you sure its twins?"she said glancing at wolfe

 

"positive." he nodded.

"each.." she moved again.

 

"Is she talking...in her sleep?"

 

"probably... ignore her. stupid mutt..." he continued moving the pad over her stomach.

he kicked her. "SHUT UP."

 

dont be nasty..."she said"anything yet?"

 

nope..." he sighed.

she sighed then looked at wolfe"wait....does...does she mean one of each, vampire and werewolf? that might be why you cant see the other one! because vampire skin is alot harder than human or werewolf skin!"

 

he looked at wolfe. "...I'll ask her.." he pulled her up by her arm. "wolfe....wolfe..." he shook her.

she awoken, revealing her once pink eyes to be black.

he slid his glasses to the end of his nose. "Wolfe?"

"one. each." she spat.

 

do you mean one of each wolfe?"she asked

 

she stared emotionless into the floor.

"wolfe..." he prodded her cheek.

her eyes closed. "mmm..."

"...can you stand?"

she shook her head.

 

"whats wrong?"

 

she attempted to speak, but inevitably failed.
"..do you have the energy?"
she shook her head.
"is it the twins that have taken the energy from you..?"
she nodded, opening her eyes and looking at Esmya.
"I'll have to get her out of here... let her sit out side..."
"sorry..." she whispered, as Dameon pulled her through the house.
