Two thousand years ago the first Persona users appeared.

At first unaware of their power, they were brought together and trained by one man. These thirteen men traveled their home country preaching good will to and using their Personae to heal the sick, lame, and blind. In the end their leader, after much trauma at the hands of his enemies and the betrayal one of his number ascended to do battle with Nyx and performed the Great Seal. This battle took three days, during which our hero was presumed dead. That Sunday he returned from the battle and spent one final month with his team of ex-Persona users before finally ascending to sustain the Great Seal forevermore.

The only woman among them was their analysis Persona user. Her Persona Magdala revealed to them the various areas where people were suffering. However, because she was a woman, her family needed her because her mother was dead and the men didn't know how to cook because they wrongly thought it was women's work.
