Trapped in the castle that never was

Mayah shook her head, then stared at Riku for a second. Dexen came running to Mayah, worried. "M-Mayah! Mayah, look what you did... I'm so sorry sir, I promise that she'll be more careful..." Mayah chuckled nervously, going next to Dexen's head.
"My name is Mayah! The handmade piece by E.A.M.!" Mayah proudly showed off her wings, the name E.A.M. important to her.
"I am Dexen... I'm number XX here..." Dexen gave a half bow to Riku politely. She seemed to have a lot of emotion for an nobody.

 

Velexira was off to explore and well...she got alittle lost. "Helloooo? Anyone around? Dem? Axel? Anybody? Nobody?"Velexira sighed. A small shadow came up to her with her kunai bag. "Spooky! Thattaboy, you found it."Velexira took the kunai bag and used to rope to tie it around her waist. "You deserved this."She gave Spooky a small candy heart, which he happily ate.

 

"..You've got to be kidding me.." Riku mumbled to himself, rubbing the back of his head and staring down at Mayah and Dexen in slight amazement. Either the Organization was turning into a daycare center, or ..well, it was turning into a daycare center. Striking down a full grown adult like Xemnas wasn't hard but ..this girl was young and very polite. "..Hi ..I'm Riku." he began for a start.

 

"Um... What brings you to the castle Mister... Riku? That means land, doesn't it?" Dexen asked, pushing her glasses up a bit so they wouldn't fall.
E.A.M. knew of a Riku... Mayah thought sadly, her face showing her thoughts.

 

"I ..well, me and my friends were brought here by some strange portal ..and its odd seeing Nobodies running around here when we destr-" he bit his lip. He didn't want the girl to be scared of him. "When me and a friend did business here once."

 

Velexira could see Dexen, Mayah, and Riku. Aw man! Not him again! Oi, I just ran into him again... well hopefully he can't see me.... She noticed Spooky going towards them and gasped. "Spooky, no! Spooky, stay!"Velexira said. Spooky stopped and looked at Velexira. "Good, now c'mere boy."Velexira said. Spooky disobeyed and went closer to Dexen. Velexira squeaked. I really gotta train that heartless better....

 

Dexen looked to Riku, confused. "Des... Destroyed? Oh, so you were against Master Xemnas's ideas too?"
Mayah looked around, noticing Spooky.

 

Raising an eyebrow in curiosity, Riku eyed her. She wasn't like the others ..yet, anyway. The brainwashing process already hit that other girl, but this one was seemingly pure and had the right idea. "Your saying you don't agree with him too?" he asked. He ignored the dog since nothing surprised him anymore.

 

"Not entirely... I like his effort on trying to get our hearts back, but he should be thankful that we're not dusks still... I don't like that he must take the hearts of others just to help us get our own." Dexen sighed, her eyes closed as she thought.

 

"...But your still on his side ..and joining this Organization means you'll destroy anything or anyone to get a heart for yourself ..people die, by your hands, every day ..as long as the Organization does what they do." Riku explained, growing serious.

"Spooky!"Velexira went to Spooky and grabbed him. "Bad Spooky. I told you to stay put and you went off."She pouted and noticed Riku. She said nothing for a few seconds and then gave a tiny "Meep."

 

"But..." Dexen blushed a bit, hiding her mouth with her left hand. "I never hurt anyone... I was brought in... I was just born... I never wanted to hurt, Mayah brought me here. She thought it was best..."
Mayah looked to Dexen. "E.A.M. had thought this would happen. So she thought her nobody would best be here then alone and cold."

Once again, Riku ignored Velexira after last time. She was a smart mouth, and he had no time for a brainwashed lackey of the organization.He tried, he could say that much.Still, he would've destroyed that heartless if she hadn't gotten it. Good to know a rude girl like her could take a small amount of responsibility.

As for Dexen.

"..Okay, wait a second ..who's this 'E.A'M' person?" he questioned, not wanting to go by initials or three letters. Diz was odd enough.

 

Velexira was glad for Riku not paying attention. "Go back to the room, Spooky."She whispered, setting Spooky on the ground. Spooky sank into the ground and started to got to Velexiras room. Velexira noticed Dexen and decided that she wanted her bit of the conversationg. "Sooo, what are you guys talking about?"She asked, grinning a bit.

 

Mayah sighed. "E.A.M. created me, and so many others... But she's not here anymore..."
Dexen looked up to Mayah, a concerned look on her face.

 

" Okay ..but anyway, do you like being on their side?" Riku questioned Dexen and Mayah once again. If he could get through to Dexen, then he'd feel accomplished. "Look, for every heart you take, you cause more pain ..and when you get your heart, what then? All that life taking just for you to feel emotions again ..thousands of lives for your sake. And you really think this is the right side?"

 

"Hellooooo?"Velexira was being ignored. She did not like that. Yeesh, I'm here too Mr. Grumpy... Seriously, this dude needs a hug, he's waaaaaay too gloomy... Of course I don't have a heart so I'm pretty apathetic myself....

 

"But... I never took anyone's heart... I don't mean any harm... I never hurt anyone..." Dexen shivered a bit, wincing.
Mayah shook her head. "E.A.M. wished peace. And I made sure that she wouldn't harm anyone. E.A.M. would have gotten a pain in her chest if she did..."

 

Riku ignored Velexira yet again, not forgetting her previous treatment of him last time."Okay..but as long as you stay in this group, you stand by what they do ..do you understand Dexen?" and he really hoped she did.Someone so young like her could probably be fooled with ease. She'd be used for her powers, as the others would, while the big cheese sat back and watched the fire works to the very end.

 

"I do know what I'm in... But... Oh, I've heard from Mayah that there's someone really nice here." Dexen blushed, remembering something.
"She's talking about Roxas." Mayah sighed. Then she turned around to finally notice Velexira. "Why hello!"
