Trapped in the castle that never was

Zexion sniffed the air slouching comfortably back in the lounge chair feeling the presence of both Axel and Larxene were both back with them as well in the castle. Had Xenmas really gone mad this time? The cloaked schemer still couldn't believe that the assassin had gone after him as a chosen target to take away his life force using Vexen's puppet. Just to cover his ass from his own betrayals. It was unsoundfully rude and once he found the red head he would speak to him about it. No, worse he could set any revenge on him with the illusionist aspect that the flame dancer would hate such as a water or coldness or even an blizzard just to get back at him. Now was not the time if the flurry persisted on causing problems like avoidance then of course the decision would set in.


Xigbar shifted his attention to Demyx as the moment he was sitting at the table very calmly if not tapping his fingers. "So what is your problem? I am pissed off because we hardly have any food now, thanks to the pig loaders in the organization," he relented his weapons back towards away to not threaten the younger member.

 

"Sora!" Kairi exclaimed when she saw him, giving him a swift but playful punch to his arm, "You had the both of us so worried! And would you not talk so loud? We're not exactly back home you know" She giggled, knowing she was pretty loud herself.
She looked over at Riku and nodded, but was hesitant to stay behind. She rarely did anything but stay behind. It frustrated her at times that Riku ad Sora had to protect her so much. Why couldn't she protect them more often? But for now, she would agree. For now...
"Alright, Riku? If you need us, call us okay?" Kairi said as he left,hoping he wouldn't need to.

Bella carefully slinked through the halls, careful to be as quiet and invisible as possible. She was so used to being in the spotlight and now with the other members hardly knowing her, it was a rather nice change of pace. She smirked, feeling like a ninja, when her stomach growled. "Great... And I just ate an apple like a few hous ago. They better have left my apples alone.."

 

Cloud was being more suspicious by this castle by the minute. He was uncertain how he got here and wanted answers. Surely someone would know? Rounding the corner, he ventured towards the west side of the castle becoming more lost then ever. Becoming frusterated, but still keeping his cool, he punched some coordinates on his comlink to trace his actions so he wouldn't get lost. It would highly be likely he would though since it was such a grand place and he had no idea where he was going? Cloud decided to go up another flight of stairs and attempt to get to the top hoping to get outside and look beyond where he was at. Maybe he would be able to find a way out if he could do just that.

Demyx was caught off guard that he was being addressed to for he wasn't used to that kind of attention except for the negative type. Not wanting to keep Xigbar waiting he stood up from the chair he was seated in and pushed it back against the table. "Uh nothing, but I saw your weapons out and I figured you were upset at someone. I came in here to get something to drink and to eat, but now you're saying that we're almost out of food because of the other members of our organization? Did I get that right?" He walked over to the cupboard and began to rummage the pantry himself looking for something that had flavor. "No I wouldn't ever be caught eating diet crap like chips with no sodium or flavor and stuff that tastes like cardboard." He tossed them out of the cupboards. "I bet this crap is Marluxia's or Vexen's stuff." Being unsatisfied he walked to the fridge and opened it trying to find something. "I found something, but it has Larxene's name on it. It's her bucket of fried chicken. Do you think she would mind?" He asked pulling it out and placing it on the counter and then closed the fridge.

 

The only sound coming from Vexen's lab in the castle that never was, was the sound of the nobody scientist's pen tapping on the nobody scientist's desk while he sat in his chair. Vexen had been in his lab now for some time now, so long in fact that he had not heard from any of the other members, like it bothered him, in fact Vexen was satisfied with being alone in his lab.

 

Me? Well it wouldn't be so hard to just check it out quickly, but I use Roxas and two OCs.

Bic: Roxas walked out of the room and turned to the way they could get outside. He herd some talking close by but he just thought that it were some other members and decided not to bother them. After walking a while Roxas turned to the door which would take them outside.

Katie rubbed her head. She remembered sitting on a bench and reading a book when there came a big shadow and the place got pretty dark so that she couldn't read. She had lifted her head up from the book and then everything went black and it felt like something had pulled her in. She saw the book in her hand still but it wouldn't explain to her, where she was.

Xinia opened her door and walked outside. She was a bit shy, but still wanted to check the place out. She was pretty new and hadn't seen all the places.

 

Xion followed Roxas, humming quietly to still her nerves. She still wasn't comfortable being in the castle, it made her want to escape all over again.

 

Roxas pushed the door open and stepped outside but he bumped into something. He tapped the air in front of him and it felt like there was an invisible wall surrounding them.
"Huh?"

Xinia quietly walked around the castle trying not to get any attention. But after a while she heard her stomach growling. "Shoot... Where was the kitchen again?"

 

Xion followed him, then gently spread her hands to touch the wall. "We're stuck." she said calmly.

 

''I can't believe i found you guys!!''Sora shouted.''Oops,sorry Kairi i forgot,No shouting.''Sora said laughing.''So Buddy,What happened 'Round here?''Sora asked Riku.''Don't you think this castle looks just like the castle that never was?Hey and to mention something...I thought Donald and Goofy would be here since they were on the island with us.Or maybe King Mickey?''Sora said.

 

Roxas hit the wall once more. It looked like he was trying to break it.
"What's going on?" he mumbled

 

Luxord, after some slight bordeom had finally decided to gamble some with his Nobodies, and after he won, he still fealt empty. True, it had been a good game, though the stakes... They just weren't high enough. After some time in deep thought, he bumped upon Xinia. "Willing to make a gamble?" he asked.

 

"Dattebayo...Whewre is everybody..."Velexira sighed. She was yearning for someone to prank but couldn't find any other members. Suddenly she saw Yuffie who looked unconcious. "Uh-oh."She went up to Yuffie. "Hey, you alright?" "Hyah!"Yuffie suddenly got up, making Velexira jump. "Aha! Who are you and what am I doing here?"She asked. "Uh..."Velexira was alittle speechless. "Ha! Take that! And this!"Yuffie pretended to punch Velexira. "I'm...Velexira...You okay kid?"Velexira asked. "I'm not a kid! I'm the great ninja Yuffie!"Yuffie said, grinning.

 

"Sora, keep it down!" Riku urged through gritted teeth, cocking his head towards the spiky haired friend who was treating this like it was a game. Sora was his best friend, but as for his mentality, he was still as carefree as ever. And Riku ..he had the creeping feeling that they weren't alone in this castle. He could smell darkness everywhere, except it was fresh ..mobile. But the Organization was defeated ..so how was this possible?

And the worst part was ..he smelled even more than before.

Turning his head forward and hoping Sora would stay with Kairi, not to mention quiet, he proceeded down the hallway on his own.Things weren't right here.

With his mind spinning with thoughts of Castle Oblivion and his failure, Marluxia was barely able to pick up the sound of footsteps just ahead. It wasn't heavy, so it couldn't be someone like Lexaeus or Xigbar.

..no, he remembered these footsteps well. Larxene, on the move once more. As he came to the intersection of halls, he turned his hooded head toward her. She appeared as thoughtful as he was, and from the look of things she was a little annoyed. He couldn't blame her ..this castle was now a prison, and the cellmates they had were lowlifes who knew nothing of what they truly wanted.And Axel ..they had a score to settle, that much was certain.

In order to appear friendly and not be mistaken as one of her most hated friendlies, he slipped his hands into his hood, lifting it and moving it back, revealing his face while magenta petals flew from the hood.It was no surprise that this happened each time, since he took great pride in his appearance. Pink hair or not, he was a handsome man, with a brilliant cause. His eyes falling upon the Nymph, Marluxia wondered just how well she was taking things. "Good evening, Larxene ..tell me ..what do you feel inside? " he wanted to know her thoughts on this entire situation. If it took cursing and kunai throwing, so be it. He just wanted to see the state of mind she was in. They hadn't talked much since being reborn, but he had seen her attempt to brutally murder Axel.

He wasn't part of the group that was holding her back ..he merely watched from afar. He held the same hate that she had, only his approach would be different, depending on circumstances. That man had caused the failure of his plan. And if Larxene was still willing, they could leave and plan once more. The pieces were all in place ..all he had to do now was Wait Prepare, And Execute.

 

''Maybe...Kingdom hearts has returned.''Sora said.''Hey,Kairi,Look at that!''Sora said pointing to a note.''Lets read it...''

 

The one eyed senior stiffled back a scoff as he heard Demyx explain of touching some forbidden food that belonged to someone else. He shook his head as if almost amused. Poor defenless little Demyx always the one afraid of confronatation and playing the nice guy. Well nice guys don't always finish last. He placed the chicken greedily in his mouth as he slammed the bucket back into the fridge. "I don't give a rat's ass whose chicken this is. That traitor can rot in the inside of a cell along with Marluxia. What comes around goes around. That includes Lexaeus's and Xaldin's fat stomachs. I will just get into their food stash if have. Damn pack rats. We need to conserve," he muttered his voice folded his arms looking at the younger man.


Zexion perked up his ears in slight annoyance with hearing Xigbar's thundering voice and made his presence clear as he walked right past him and into the fridge and pulled out his chinese leftover and heated it up in the microwave. When the machine beeped he pulled it out of the microwave, "I recommend we keep our voices down, the traitors are back, and so are some other unwanted guests. Until we figure something else no one is going to kill each other," he spoke in a low voice.

 

Demyx chuckeled loving Xigbar's witty response. "I would love to see you say that to their faces." That statement was something very typical Xigbar would say. The free shooter didn't care about the lower members especially the treacherous traitors that had tried to take down the organization with their own means and the nocturne could tell that by the gestures and harshness of his words. Demyx edged back watching the chicken bone get stripped of its meat in a matter of seconds by the senior member.This act caused his stomach to rumble as he held it, a light blush seeping in his cheeks from the loud noise. "Well in that case," with his right hand, he took out the bucket again from the fridge and searched for a piece that didn't look dried out or to fatty. Finding the perfect one, he placed it on a plate, placed a napkin over it to prevent it from splattering grease in the micorowave and punched in a couple minutes until it warmed. While waiting he pulled out a peach yogurt, and some cheese crackers he found in the very back of the cupboard hidden from view. Opening the microwave he observed Zexion out of the corner of his eye and rubbed his hands together afterwards blowing on them from taking out the hot plate without any oven mitts. Taking his seat back at the table after he got the bbq sauce out of the fridge, he listened to the cloaked scheamer speak of intruders in the castle. Dare Demyx say he saw them as well? No for that would raise questions as to why he didn't stop them? Instead, he removed his gloves from his hands placing them in his pocket and leaned back in his chair, picked up the piece of chicken blowing the steam off of it and took a small bite, savoring the juicy flavor of what it had to offer. Tearing off pieces of the meat, he dipped them into his sauce and ate them, sucking on his fingers afterwards. It was a rare sight to see his hands exposed for the organization rarely took their gloves off as it was considered part of their uniform. "So how much food do we have left anyway? Couldn't we just leave to go get more? Oh wait erase that idea. We can't for some reason." He starred at the chicken like it was one of his last meals and this made his mind wander about finding any food he could, storing it somewhere safe and eating it when he needed to. "Wait a sec... If we can't leave what about other things we'll need like stuff we use everyday? What if we run out? That's not an option." He was thinking of the nessessities such as soap, toliet paper, drinks, toiletries items etc.

 

"Okay, how exactly did you- Oh man... Did Ma-I mean, did Xemnas do this? Oh man! I never get told about the fun stuff!"Velexira pouted. "What are you talking about?"Yuffie asked. "I don't even know myself..."Velexira sighed. She heard footsteps down the hallway. "Hide!" "What?"Yuffie looked at Velexira like she was insane. "Hey, is there any materia or treasure around here?"She asked. "No. Trust me, I've looked."Velexira said.

 

Okay..in Castle Oblivion ..Lexaeus ..Zexion ..and the rest ..Sora must've taken care of them. Riku thought to himself, thinking back to the members he previously fought and the ones Sora defeated. "Then we've got Saix ..and the Gambler ..Axel ..Xigbar ..and Xemnas ..biggest threats in the entire Organization ..great." he muttered, narrowing his eyes and looking over his shoulder. He couldn't even see Sora and Kairi anymore.

..Sora.. don't let anything happen to her..

Freezing and pressing his back up against a wall, Riku looked forward again, hearing sounds of chatter up ahead. Was it just his imagination?

 

"Ssh....I'm gonna check it out." "No fair! I wanna check it out!"Yuffie said. "Who knows the area?" "You do... But still-" "You know what, fine."Velexira sighed. Yuffie squealed and went down the hallway. "Hellooooo?! Anyone around here? Squally? Cloud? Tifa? Aerith?"Yuffie looked around.

 

Easing himself silently to the very edge of the wall between him and the unknown, excitement filled stranger, Riku willed his Way to the Dawn in his right hand, having it appear in a very silent manner. The flash still occurred, but this place was so bright you could hardly tell.

It's a girl ..obviously. But it sounds like she's lost too.. an enemy wouldn't be lost in their own castle, unless they were completely hopeless. No, this girl had to be in a situation like he and his friends were. Not wanting to show himself just yet, Riku raised Way to the Dawn higher, bringing it across his chest. "Who's there? ..what's your name?" he questioned.
