    *sigh*

    Somehow I've manage to avoid all the Twi-hards during the 'yay new movie coming out 8DDDD' frenzy.

    Should've expected all the cheap shots at Twilight, I suppose.

    I was under the impression the movies were over...then went to see Tower Heist and they showed a commercial for the new one. Either I'm really oblivious or it just fell of the map.

    The Harry Potter fanbase is worse than the Twilight fanbase.

    Twilight isn't even that bad. I wish people would stop wasting their time ragging on it.

    Honestly, yeah. I would rather be in the company of rabid Twilight fans than rabid Harry Potter fans. Both are deadly in different ways.

    I have been compared to Edward Cullen more than three times. I read the books twice, and I still do not see the similarity.

    I hated the movies.

    It depends on which age group you mean.

    @Nate;

    I feel like hardcore Harry Potter fans are just more dangerous than hardcore Twilight fans.

    Harry Potter is something fans literally grew up with. IT'S EMBEDDED WITHIN. If you're dead obsessed with something, for like eight years verses people being obsessed with Twilight after the movie/hype for about four...yeah.

    In response to;

    Hardcore Twilight fans can get a little (lol) crazy, but I'd rather witness their riot than witness the entire hardcore Harry Potter fanbase going crazy.

    Well, the movies aren't bad, but even those I have trouble sitting through, just because of all the drama it takes just to get up to the good part. Kindal like in the 3rd movie. But having to read those books, I think I would rather just read the whole Eragon book in one day again. I can not deal with reading any drama books like Twilight

    I do agree with the fact that it's been the most epic (not epic as in amazing, but epic as in large) movie series for prettymuch a generation, but I am yet to hear of any "Crazy Harry Potter fans". I've heard more about Twilight fans asking Robert Pattinson to drink their blood and cornering him in alleys than I have heard anything about any Harry Potter fan.

    Yeah, considering how long Harry Potter's been out, I think I've heard twice as much Twilight Fandom than Harry Potter, and Harry Potter started when I was like 10 or something

    I've yet to hear about Harry Potter fans getting violent either. Allegedly, there's been numerous incidents caused by Twilight fans.

    I think the Twilight incidents were over-hyped like everything else involving Twilight. I'm on my iPod atm, otherwise I'd link to some Potter crimes. I think 'irrational' Potter fans are more, "brb practicing dark magic" while Twilight fans are more likely to claim they're a vampire or scream over Edward Cullen and wanting to be bitten. I guess it depends on what you believe in. I feel certain forms of witchcraft have more validity than vampires.

    But I originally meant hypothetically, if intense Harry Potter fans -DID- just snap. I think it'd be more dangerous than a majority of pre-teen girls with four years less experience or time to be dedicated to their fandom. x:

    That might just be me. Crazy Twilight fans don't scare me, I just feel sorry for them. I live in an area where they tend to worship Twilight because of the books reference to the city. They have Twilight specific shops, and weirdness.

    Twilight midnight premiere(s) and Harry Potter midnight premiere(s). I usually end up crying at HP ones and going deaf afterwards, Twilight ones are just weird. Like a cult gathering. They still scream, just... In comparison...I don't know. Less intense? More girly?

    Harry Potter is less dark than Twilight is, and even has a few moral messages. Twilight is, at best, a Mary Sue wish-fulfillment story for the writer and the readers, in which the main characters act purely on emotion and protective instincts and either get their ways through luck, force their ways, or go into deep depressions when they do not get their ways. If this was not bad enough, these are portrayed as good things to do when put into those situations.

    You tell me which is more dangerous.
