This War Is Ours: Light and Dark

Melissa watched someone walking towards her. She did a bow as a sign of respect.
"Of course you may..." she said, smiling slightly.

 

"Well you see, i am looking for this woman" he said to her, showing her a picture of the princess, Katheline. "Have you at all seen this person anywhere in this town?" he asked her. His voice was plain, some what monotone, and not filled with much emotion, though he was trying to put some emotion into his speaking

ooc: I just noticed that my char probably shouldnt have a pic in this era. just incase any questions are asked I'll just say that its something that the elves made or somethen......just sayen

 

Katheline slashed at the Werewolf, making him howl. She scraped his mouth, grabbing his head, and smashing it into the wall. She saw the werewolf fall to the ground, moaning in pain. Katheline let Ferocious appear at her feet, as she pet her, walking out of the Alley. The blood on her hands were still there, as she slipped on a pair of gloves. She began to walk down the Market Street, making no note of anything, looking rather happy.

 

Melissa frowned.
"I'm sorry sir, I haven't...Sorry I can't be much more of help," she answered, wondering why he was looking for the princess.

 

"Oh really, are you sure?" he asked her. though it was not as if he could read her mind, indeed because of his mental superiority, he certainly could pick up an uneasiness in the air. "If you say so though then I suppose that that will be all, except for one thing" he said, as he searched in his pockets, as he took out a piece of stone, magnetite to be exsact. "would you mind taking this? I was given it awhile ago and it would be a pain to throw away since it is so beautiful. I'm certain you might be able to make some sort of use out of it" he said to her, not appearing to contemplate the awkward question which he had presented her with

 

Katheline walked along, Ferocious at her feet. She saw a Guard in the middle of the crowd, holding some sort of stone and photo, talking to a girl. She walked by the two, looking back them, and continuing to walk by. Awkward... She thought, scratching her head as she continued on.

 

Melissa shook her head from both sides.
"Why would you wan to throw away such a beautiful," she began then looked beyond, seeing the Princess walking by. She gasped and looked back at the guard.
"The princess is right over there," she said, pointing at the location where the princess was walking.

 

Rik stood up and left the inn, he needed air to think. The spirit of his victim was haunting his mind, showing him the images of the beast he could be, the beast he had been. It was getting to him. Quickly, he headed for the door and opened it rather swiftly because of his vampiric qualities and closed it by swinging his arm back while stepping through. He took gasps of air, not concerned wether the sun was out or not, he couldn't tell as he had his eyes closed for concentraition.

 

Melissa smiled.
"Glad I could help you," she added, before walking off the way she was heading. She was debating on whether to go get the job she needed, or go back to the boarding home.. She shrugged her shoulders, then walked on, watching the thief that tried to steal her currency return, only with friends. She turned, hearing the heals of her shoes clack on the stone ground. She turned into a light jog to get away from them.

 

"Excuse me, ma'am!" Ita called out, now that the person whom he had been talking to had left. He began walking towards her, his hood helled up high so as to not reveal his face, as he helled onto the piece of magnetite

 

Katheline looked back, seeing a man chasing after her. She stopped, Ferocious not stopping until about three feet away. She ran back to her owner, meowing weakly. Katheline looked at the man, seeing him looking tired.
"Yes?" She said, putting her hands to her sides, her cat going to the side of her dress, watching the man.

 

Blade was sitting inside a bar. He has he was sitting in a chair near a table in the corner of the bar with his legs on top of the table and his eyes closed. "hmm where shall I go to next"Blade thought to himself as he wondered what his next destination would be

 

"Might I ask for your name?" Ita asked, as he looked directly at her face, taking into account all of the aspects and features of it.

 

Melissa kept running, as fast as she could now, watching the gang behind her catching up. She breathed hard, running past a few buildings, one apparently a bar. She ran to the side of the bar, cornered by a wooden fence. She looked back the gang surrounding her. She breathed, pulling off her Jacket in a stylish way, pulling out her dagger.

 

"Err... Katheline." Katheline said, looking at the man's eyes, seeing some sort of wanting. She was moving back some, seeming nervous.
"Is there a problem?" She asked, standing straight now, not wanting to cause a scene.

 

"I'll make things quick then. I was sent by orders to find you..." he said. "I am a specialized assasin, my skills usually revolving around massive groups, though this time I have been hired as........a gaurd, I suppose you may wish to call it." he said to her, making things clear since already just by giving out the name it would be too much of a coincidence for her to be a different woman.

 

Katheline looked at the man in a different way, more serious.
"Did my father send you? How did he find out?" She asked, sounding concerned.

 

Melissa stood calm, watching gang inch their way near her, until one of them grabbed her knife and pulled it away. She gasped and felt another one push her up against the wooden fence. She felt most of them grabbing her and laughing. She struggled, yelling out.

 

"I suppose he did. Not in person, but something of that sort." he said to her, as he scratched his head. "To tell you the truth, I'm the one that found you. Your father had no idea of where your being was, so I had to search on my own. I used a bit of information from others that are looking for you...." he said, not mentioning just what methods he used to get them to give information.

 

Rik heard someone calling out and started running towards the sounds, his breathing was right yet.
"So you wish to repent"
A voice called out in Rik's mind, it was his ghost. He dared not dignify her with an answer.
