This really is getting quite annoying

I say, Though I don't enjoy their music, I'm happy for their success and wish them the best.

Why must people ruin these songs and promote hate by posting comments like these? Other people are entitled to opinon, and hating someone because you do not agree with their opinion, or because you do not enjoy the music they play is foolishness.

 

Apart from Breaking Benjamin, they all suck now/are not half as good as they once were anyway. Besides, when were any of them known as Rock and Roll?

 

Music = Global Language

We can't get along as it is, so why would be agree on the same kind of music? Good god.

 

I don't even know who breaking Benjamin are.

Precisely, how can we expect everyone to appreciate the same music as us? Closed mindedness is a foolish thing.

so what if you listen to music that isnt "under ground" i hate to break it to you but nothing is underground thanks to the internet and Sirius radio.

so shut up and enjoy the many different types of music and expand your musical knowledge.

 

Personally, I don't like the new bands, bar a few songs by a small amount of artists and I absolutely hate them being played, purely because it's either meaningless music used to make money or that guy singing about how he'd catch a grenade for some chick.

and the Bruno Mars "Gerenade" song is about a relationship that was doomed from the start but how he still loves the girl.

Plus not even all bands on the internet are mainstream, I don't think you can exactly call Jackal + Wolf or Conflict in the Sky well known.

 

this is true i forgot about that...however, I live in an area where local bands are alittle more mainstream...not everyone is mainstream (i apologize for the statement earlier)

but the majority of bands are mainstream because of the internet and internet type radio.

 

Majority of bands that have some kind of record deal are mainstream, yeah. Even if it's not a huge label, the fact that they are being published by an actual company (and not just self released EPs) adds to the ability to find them.

 

People who are into rock only think that their taste is good taste, everyone else's sucks. Oh well, more music for me then!

I see kids at my school wear Dinosaur Jr. shirts.

 

I've heard of these, my friends listen to them for the most part though.
I stick to rock and metal, but I don't think everything else sucks.
Except for Nickelback most country.
