I think I read somewhere that without JarJar, the Empire would never have existed. Since he was kind of the weak link.

Jar-Jar was my favorite character...and still sorta is....I dunno.........been a while since I was into Star Wars.

And like Myoblivion said, only about six years difference. In I, Anikan's 9, and Padme Naberry...I mean Amidala....I mean Skywalker(Why do Female leads in Star Wars have Three surnames?! Just Like Leia Skywalker/Organa/Solo!) is 15. But they get married like 10 or 19 years later, so, it's cool.
