Thanks for getting to this for me Amaury. Hahaa!

The thing that interested me most about today was President Woodrow Wilson picketed by women suffragists, 1917, and Mass slaughter in Ukraine, 1941.

To be honest, sometimes i find the "sub" events to be more interesting than the Lead Story. But i find all history interesting, and it's great to know about it.

Ironically my mom was just talking about Princess Diana today.
    *shot*

But yeah, that is a tragic story. I never really knew much about her, but she seemed like a great person and she would be proud to see her children grow up to be who they are today (especially Will and Kate). May she rest in peace.

Merged the threads together, just for the sake of organization.

But these are pretty cool, always interests me to see things from the past (in some cases still relevant to today).
Also good to see a more serious one, as I follow one for significant days in geek history on tumblr. xD

The lead story was pretty interesting, actually. The fact that an African American became a court justice person is great.

Of course, I'm sure there was a lot of racism towards the guy back then, since that's how it was.

Yup, i found it to be quite interesting as well.

However, the one that peeked my interest the most was the General Interest. Cleopatra commits suicide, 30 B.C. Vladimir Lenin shot, 1918 The U.S.-Soviet "hot line" goes into operation, 1963 First African American in space, 1983.

I found those very cool, i love learning about stuff like that the most.

I'm not sure if Atlanta falling to the union is good or bad, but if it's good, then that's great, because that means freedom.

As for one of the other stories, what kind of son kills their own father? That's just heartless, in my honest opinion.

Wow, even back then, ATMs were popular.
What I find more interesting, though, is that Japan surrendered.

There's also more stuff about war.
Jeez, does all history have stuff regarding wars? XD

I was always wondering where the term "Geronimo" came from, and now I know.

Anyway, is there a day in history without war in it? Every time each day's history is posted, I always see war stuff. =/

Also, Little Rock? I always thought that was a made-up place.

I guess the Valley Girl is the history that interested me here, as it's always good to have music.

Sleeping in is for losers, though!

Anyway, Little Willie? Now, that's a funny name.

I always find it interesting when prototypes are given silly names, especially when it's in history.
Also, it's always nice for progress to be made in the automotive department.

There's, of course, more war stuff, too. :)
