Things in games that you spent way too much time on

Playing Crisis Core, I would spend hours in the church listening to "Bearing the Burden". My favorite piece from the game.........

 

Me too actually. I'm pretty bad at that game, which is strange because I loved Jak 1 and 3

 

Ugh. That one snowball in Okami took me forever to realize that it had no purpose.

 

I actually started all three of them and rage-quit each. xD
I just spend an especially large amount of time on Jak II because it's the only one of them that I actually own. Plus it's the most fun of them all.

 

Spending hours in Jak and Daxter taunting the lurker sharks. 8D
Raging because I didn't get 100% completion.
Being distracted by the scenery and running into enemies/sharp things/death.

 

Perfecting the basketball game in FFVII. I spent hours on that game alone, trying to get enough to buy the top prize.

Trying to get every single character, item, village, house, and enemy in a chapter in any Fire Emblem game in the lowest possible number of turns.

 

I can't believe it took you more then 2 hours to unlock all the characters in Marvel VS Capcom 3
Or any Street Fighter game

Getting all the sewer crystals in Ratchet and Clank: Up your arsenal. oh god that place was an enormous maze. on top of that it took me two hours to find my way back to the guy after i get them all

 

Gotta have my ****ing items. >> I don't go back to levels. But I will stay in a RPG maze forever to get the rarest item in it.

 

why must mazes be so large and confusing?

Also on Devil May Cry 4, in the jungle with Nero where you have to go in the right direction 3 times in order to pass that one part, I couldn't see the writing on my screen, since it was white against other light colours and I had to wear sunglasses just to read it.
In idle time-wasting... in X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse, trying to get the perfect score on that Trivia game and playing in the Danger Room... Teleporting into stupid places using Nightcrawler just because I can and finally, somehow making Gambit murder Magneto by pushing him off a cliff.
In Tekken 5 & 6, customising characters.
Tekken 5, playing Devil Within.
Dissidia Duodecim, Party Battles and Mognet.

To fuking hard to get all the materials known to moogles.

 

Really? I thought that one was easier than KHI. Well I'm sure you could find a material chart, or if you have the game guide, that has a pretty good chart as well.
