"Asuki! Lead the way!" Ashir ran beside Asuki, throwing a small pouch of strong herbs on her neck, as well as his own neck.

 

Asuki nodded, but as she sniffed the air she stopped. "Papa is..."she sniffed around, not being able to get Sora's scent.

The new, monster cat was ready to pounce. any sign of movement from Xidanne or Xirane and he would be on them like-well, you know. 'Vanitas! You leave them alone or..or I'll-'Sora protested. Or you'll what? Ventus isn't here to help you...Vanitas chuckled.

 

"Come on!" Ashir, strangely, recognized the area and stormed into the lab, busting down the door. In his right hand was another small bag of herbs and the other hand held a purifying salt. 'Just gotta get this around his neck and sniff it, he'll get knocked out.'

 

'Ashir!'For a moment the eyes of the monster kitty went back to its green color. Since he had no control over his body right now he was trying to get whoever did to stay away from hurting anyone. and said person, Vanitas, was not listening. Xirane was slowly sneaking toward the monsterous cat with the anklet while it was distracted.

 

Ashir charged and tackled Sora, stuffing the powerful smelling herbs in his nose. He coughed, it was getting a bit harder to breathe.

 

The monster cat inhaled the scent of the herbs, coughing before finnaly...passing out. Xirane and Xidanne were speechless, Xirane putting the anklet back on. Asuki looked at Sora, smiling. "Papa..."she was purring a bit.

 

Ashir ended up passing out as well. 'Those were strong herbs...' his tired head drifted to sleep.

 

Asuki looked at Ashir, then to Sora. "Papa...."she shook Sora first. "nyuh...."Sora opened his eyes, looking around. "Okay.... lets keep that anklet on him..."Xirane said nervously. Sora gave them a small look. "Papa?"Asuki tilted her head.

 

Ashir's right hand twitched as he slept, another round of nightmares. "Rachel..." he mumbled, his breaths jagged and shallow, reaching the verge of sobs. "Asuki..." his left hand clenched, and he gritted his teeth. 'Mom... I'm so sorry...' he then quieted down to silent breaths of sobbing.

 

"Ashir...?"Sora looked to Ashir, holding him gently. "oh, you poo thing..."he held Ashir in his arms, humming.

 

It felt like a cold presence was in the room, a small weight sat on Sora's shoulder. It was if someone had their icey hand on his shoulder, but at the same time, it was warm. A small echo of a scent filled the noses of those who could realize it. Ashir moved a bit, grumbling. "Mom... Forgive me..." he moaned sadly.

 

Asukis ears twitched at the smell, stunned. Sora didn't mind the sudden feeling on his shoulder, continuing to hum a lullaby to Ashir.

 

The cold feeling crept over to Asuki, a small weight on both shoulders, two hands. The echoing scent heightened around Asuki, and a small ghost of a sigh grazed over everyone's ears. Ashir tossed around a bit due to the presence of the cold.

 

Asuki didn't mind the presence, actually glad that someone acknoledged her asides from Ashir. Sora finnaly realized the weight and looked around, alittle spooked.

 

The weight from Sora had moved to Asuki before, but did go back to Sora. And if he was very sensitive to touch, he could feel the slight brush of feathers. "Keep him sane and safe..." the ghost of a voice echoed through his ear, as well as Asuki's.

 

"Of course..."Asuki purred. Sora nodded, alittle spooked out still.

 

"I will be watching. Don't let him become his father." The ghost whispered again. The cold and dark feeling left, and Ashir awoke.
"W-Why was it so cold?" he shivered for warmth.

 

"There was a ghost.... Don't worry, it went away."Sora said. Asuki was upset tha her own papa couldn't see her....

 

"... Mom always wanted to see a ghost." Ashir murmured. He looked at Asuki, seeing her pain. "It's okay Asuki, we'll figure it out..." he smiled. Then frowned. "Do you have any idea who the ghost was?"

 

"I don't really know... It seemed to know you though."Sora chuckled. Asuki noticed Sora's pendant glow for a few seconds.(I'm tired of Asuki only being seen by Ashir.XD) Sora turned his held and immediantly fell over at the sight of Asuki. "Nyah!"Asuki yelped a bit also.
