Well for one, the idea for Communism isn't bad so i don't see how thats relevant in any way whatsoever and if everyone else doesn't have a problem with her and you do. Had you thought it's you who's the problem? So just stay away from her because your only making yourself unhappy.

 

Take all her stuff and distribute amongst you. Say you're converting.

 

The idea behind socialism indeed isn't bad, but it doesn't really work well in practice in large places over long periods of time, and it certainly can't work at all anymore. True communism also will probably never happen.

In terms of my political beliefs I'm probably a social democrat over anything else, but even I think worshipping Communism/Socialism at this point is kinda faggy.





Anyways, I suggest giving her a cockslap to the face. That usually works wonders.

 

Advise her to split the dorm into East and West Dormany by builing a giant wall there.

While the idea of Communism isn't a bad idea, it never works, and if this girl is mindlessly saying how the idea of Communism is great and wonderful but rejects everyone's example of how every Communist society has failed, then she's an idiot. Now, if she were giving a knowledgable debate, that's different, but somehow I doubt how that's the case since she's drawing pictures of happy Communists.

Idea's don't kill kill people, people kill people. Capitalism doesn't run down your daughter down on a motorcycle and dies, some crazed speed freak does that, nazism didn't march people into the gas chambers, cruel morally warped people did that. Communism didn't kill your family, people did it so don't delude yourself and blame an idea for what people have caused..

@Flame Mancer: well thats fair enough but the only reason it has failed to fulfil its true promise of equality is simply because it cannot work in places where it had been employed, i.e. cuba or russia simply because both did not have the capabilities for such a thing. A developed nation would be able to handle it but capitalism is already in place so socialism cannot take place in these areas. simple as that.
