Well yeah they did exist. But they were very uncommon.
In order to be a Viking you had to be a Norse hunter or warrior.
The Norse civilazation existed in a time when it was weird to have a female warrior, so female Vikings had to do a Mulan or something :P

Thing is, if a girl isn't into you now, I doubt she'd be into you after you pretend to be dating your cousin... Or anyone for that matter. That's just weird...
