The Z Team

"Ah-"
She turned to him,studied his face.
"Try not to sneak up on me like that," she sighed and frowned.
Her heart was beating a bit fast so she breathed slowly to regulate it.
"Yeah,silly...Are you wanting to become part of the squad?
Her eyes traveled to Zoft and Spaze.Then to the stranger.
"Who might you even be?"

 

"Hmm? Oh, you want some too? Here." Spaze faked a smile before taking out a piece of gum from her pack and handing it towards Zoft, before purposely dropping it. "Oops." She looked away from him and turned to the person that was behind Halezy. "Now where did you come from?"

 

"You may call me Zene, or whatever you wish, really. Yes, I do want to join the Z Team!" Zene mocked excitement at the last part. He turns to Spaze. "Where I come from is of no importance, but what is of importance is where I go. And the important place I need to go is with you important people."

 

"Alrighty,Zene.Since we actually need more members...You're in."
She turned to Spaze then answered before her,"Well it's good enough.Keeping your location and whereabouts as a mystery are a bit odd though."

 

"Great! I'm in!" Zene smiled, but thought it was a tad odd he was let in that easily. "Uhh..." He scratched the back of his head. "There's a, uh, a reason I don't wanna share where I lived, but, uh, you don't really have to know what that is yet." He gave a fake smile and ran ahead a little bit.

 

Zoft slightly frowned. Ah, she doesn't like me much it seems. You'll learn..

Zoft looked at the pack of gum, deciding wether or not to pick it up. He decided not to, and layed himself down on the couch to take a nap.

 

Zazabi seperated from the team while they where talking, he wanted to know his whereabouts before getting dragged off into his first mission with them. For many reasons both common sense based and tactical he always learned every inch of his location. Just in case.

 

"Well I understand trust is hard to earn,but easy to destroy."
Then she turned to watch Zazabi stray from the group.
She scratched her head,and walked toward him.
"I'm guessing you're not exactly a people person-...alien."

 

Zazabi turned his head slightly, just enough to see the face that goes with the question. "I like to have my bearings, it's faster alone", he explained obviously not in a natural sentence. Talking to him was like a conversation with a book. After answering he continued to walk off and tour the area, he felt it wasn't his place to pester someone about it and would get around faster this way.

 

"I suppose when you joined this squad you took 'team' off of 'Z team'.So it just leaves the Z,for Zazabi."
Then walked after him,and continued,
"We need to get the team together and actually work as a team.I don't want any drama or arguments about it either."

 

With a flick of her wrist, Emzy threw a small rubber ball in the silent hallway. It bounced, and proceeded to rebound repetitively off the floor and the red-heads fist, before missing the limb completely and coming up to collide with her nose.
“...Well that was embarrassing.†She mumbled, clutching her face and blinking repeatedly. Her eyes watered slightly, but nothing too bad.
Emzy looked upwards, wondering where the small missile had bounced.
Due to the high ceilings on the corridors in HQ, the rubber ball took it’s time to soar back down from its collision with the light many meters above.
It fell back down, hitting the girl in the nose AGAIN, and gradually came to a halt on the floor below.
“...Mother Fucker.†She growled, walking away from the small, aluminous-green ball in the hallway.

A low murmuring voice made Emzy stop.

She listened.

We need to get the team together and actually work as a team. I don't want any drama or arguments about it either.

“Well I wonder who that is aimed at.†She muttered, before walking in the opposite direction, back towards the spherical demon that caused her facial hurt.

Stupid ball.

 

Halezy turned around and walked away from Zazabi.
Then she realized Emzy wasn't with her.
Urgh,where is that girl?
"Emzy...?Emzy...?" she yelled,the sound echoed through the hallways.

OOC:I suppose we are in HQ now xD

 

Zazabi was disappointed in the lack of sense from this so called team. Being from the army of his home world he understood well that in a team each person has individual roles and sometimes must work alone so the rest of the team is not dragged down in a future event. Zazabi was always the scout and therefore needed to understand where he was quickly, the others clearly knew this place better than him and the fastest and most efficent way of understanding the area was if he made it a solo task. Scan the area, gather my bearings, return to team, Zazabi listed off in his mind using his native language.

OOC: I thought we where back at HQ or something since someone was on a couch XD

 

Spaze sighed as she walked down some hallway in the HQ, thinking that dropping that small piece of gum in front of Zoft would make her feel the slightest better, but she felt worse instead. Why'd I have to do something tacky like that? She questioned herself as she listened to Haley's voice echoing down the halls nearby. Spaze leaned her back against the wall and slowly slide down until she ended up sitting on the floor. Maybe he thinks I'm not good enough to be his friend. Yeah...that might be it.

 

Emzy stopped; her hand still clutched over the front of her face, as if she had took a lungful of some bad odour. In truth, she was stopping the fastening flow of blood that ran from her nose, but Halezy didn’t have to know that.
...Yet.
“I’m here.†She called, her voice muffled.
Something tickled. Like the brush of a small feather, a sensation built up at the ridge of her nose, forcing the girl to take a sharp intake of breath.
In a matter of mere seconds, Emzy sneezed, spraying red across the wall beside her. She blinked several times, staring at what looked like a murder scene.
“Oops.â€

 

Halezy raced to her,wondering all the while why she even strays from the group.
She went to brush the hair out of her face,that was almost as annoying as trying to make everyone work together as a team.
"What the fuck?"
She slipped when she saw the blood on the wall and Emzy clutching her face,
"What happened to you?"

 

Emzy looked up, and began to laugh at the look on Halezy's face. Jesus Christ, that expression would remain in her memory forever; a form of shock horror confined to that of bad horror movies and dramatic comedies.
"Well," She started. "I just sorta" - sniff - "Was playing with my bouncy ball" - sniff - "And I hit my nose on the rebound up," - sniff - "And on the way back down." - sniff - "So then my nose bled" - sniff - "And then I sneezed over the wall and made it pretty."
Finishing her sniff-filled explanation, Emzy giggled again, and began to shuffle towards where she assumed the toilets were.
"You know, I still get lost in this place." - sniff - "where are the toilets again?"

 

She giggled to herself,relaxing at the thought that her friend was alright.
"You poor thing,did that bouncy ball take some of your self respect with it?"
She joked to her,"Kidding,they're straight and to the right."
And then added,"The wall has never looked more pretty in it's entire existance."
She smiled and followed her friend,to make sure she got there without killing herself.

 

Zene turned around and saw Emzy walk past him to the bathrooms. "Bouncy ball?" He assumed.

 

OOC: I'm leaving the roleplay... sorry guys, I don't have enough time on my hands anymore.
