You'd like it. It's from the same people who made Fairy Tale. It even has some of the same characters. And this is something that is sometimes done by villains in movies and tv shows. (Doing something to piss off the main character in order to get them to show their true power)

EDIT: And man it was such a great show too...One of the best animes that I've ever seen...Why did it have to be canceled?

Its almost over, you disgusting psychopath. I stole this Dark Bring from Shuda when he was not looking. Its an Explosive Dark Bring, and its a perfict end to you. *Smashes Lucia's dark Bring from the Decalouge with his hand* Lets go! Dark Explosive! *switches to Ravelet and uses the explosions from Shuda's Dark Bring and the Ravelet to completely destroy Lucia. Only leaving the Sinclare Shadow Stone as Lucia's remains.*
*Sieghart appears* Haru, did you just break the laws of time AGAIN?
Haru: Yeah, but he deserved it this time. With all the times I have beaten him calling me weak! Ha!
Sieghart: *Facepalms* If Elie couldn't break the Tempest Alterna, I would trap you in it right now. Anyway, what was the time that it took you to do that?
Haru: 0.000008 seconds. A little slow this time. Most likely because I chopped him in half from the head down with Gravity Core. Oh, Elie, are you OK?
Elie: Yeah. I'm fine, but when he comes back again, he better buy some Mouth Wash or I am killing him personally.
Haru: *Sigh* Fine, but you know your going to just blow his head off with your Topmpha's, right?
Elie: Yeah, that's the fun part! I even have a collection of his eyes.

honestly, Rave Master was only okay at best. one of the reasons for this was because they ended the anime less than half way through the story.. and the other reason was because they were just too random.. seriously. but aside from that though, they did pretty well with it.

Well that was just the producers' fault. They could've continued it but didn't. And yeah some stuff in it was rеtarded but it was still a one of a kind anime. I wish I knew of another anime like it...Does anybody know of any similar animes? I've been wanting to see an anime about swordfighting that actually got finished...I know about Rave Master and Fire Emblem but neither one was finished...

what you're looking for is hard to find.. stuff like Rave Master are apart of the old ways of doing anime. similar to how they did pokemon back before hoenn came out.
