I think I've hit the point where I'm so disproportionately better with Fables than anything else that I'm losing my adaptability, and I'm not sure whether to forget about other decks, and just focus the Fables, or to try use other decks more, to try to stay adaptable. Any advice?

First, I'll summon Fabled Kushano


Next, bucause I have a Fabled monster on the field, I can discard Grimro to add Lurrie to my hand.


Then, I can discard my Lurrie, to special summon Chawa.


Additionally, Lurrie summons itself from the grave.


I'll set three face-downs,


And then tune Kushano and Lurrie. 3+1=4, Synchro Summon, Fabled Unicore.


Next, I tune Unicore, and Chawa, 4+1=5, Synchro Summon, Keeper of Fables, Fabled Ragin!


Because my hand is empty, he lets me draw a pair of cards, one of which I activate. Go, Pot of Avarice!


By returning Unicore, Grimro, Chawa, Lurrie, and Kushano from my grave to my deck, I can draw two cards.
Now, I'll set two face-downs, and end my turn.

Well this is what we've been needing, a duel between two of the great powers. Interesting strategies on both ends, but it looks to me like Jaden/tin head will escape this one.

 

for a second there, I thought you had me. Maybe you still do. The problem with working with moster, is they're so.. fragile. The cards I discard are Fabled Catsith, Fabled Catsith, Fabled Lurrie, Fabled Cerburrel, Fabled Ganashia, and Magic Jammer.



the pair of catsiths destroy my ragin, and your nurse, while my other three monsters summon thereselves back onto my field in defence mode.

I send my Disk Commander and my Dodger Dragon to the graveyard and now you lose 2 cards from your hand! And since sending from the hand to the grave isn't the same as discarding you can't use the effects of your Fables!


Can you feel your hopes slipping away mortal? Can you feel the despair?

 

my Fables effects don't activate when I send them to the grave, but I send two copies of Kushano.


my hopes aren't gone, because with my Fables I know I can't lose.
