now, I tune all three of my monsters to summon Shooting Quasar Dragon!

I use my Necro Gardna's effect to negate Quasar's first attack but you have the option of using Quasar's effect.

 

I choose not to use Quasar's negation effect. Instead, I'll simply have him attack again.

Now I'l show you what I can do, first off, I activate the Book of Moon! Basically, it forces one of your monsters into face-down defense mode


Unless you activate Quasar's abilty to negate anything once.

 

actually.. I'm cool with that. Quasar is face-down.

I activate Change of Heart, targeting your facedown Quasar and bringing it over to my side.



Then I'll activate a different Book, the Book of Taiyou and flip one face-down monster to face-up ATK, and Quasar still has the maximum numbe rof attacks in this case, twice.

I activate United We Stand on Numbers 34: Leviathan Dragon as it gains 800 ATK and DEF for every monster I control so that's Stardust Dragon, Formula Synchron, Your Quasar and Leviathan Dragon thus giving it a total of 3200 ATK and DEF and since 34 had 3000 ATK, it's now on 6200.


I know what you're thinking, why boost that monster up when it can't direct attack? Simple, for I play Mystik Wok and select Leviathan Dragon's ATK, giving me 6200 LP and my total LP now is 9200

hmm... I lost because I rely on Quasar, who is my opponent's dragon. I can't be strong enough to let my Fables win if I'm relying on one of my opponents monsters. I'll just have to re-purpose my deck. If I'd just been adaptable earlier, maybe I wouldn't have held them back too much to win. *starts editing deck*

 

Shield Warrior and the effects of the Stardusts activating their negation effects is something that actually happens and it starts a chain. So can you please remember to post the card images when that happens guys?

 

Now, I'll tune my level 3 Scopen to my level 4 Slingen and two level 1 celfons! I synchro summon the grand master of the ice barrier! Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier! 3 + 4 + 1 + 1 = 9

I always love watching a clash between two similar powers.

And to all of you people out there that talk about me as some Dueling legend: Watch THESE two Duel and THEN try saying how great you think I am.

 

Don't sell yourself short, Jaden... you're a great duelist... just as good as they are... though the deck types might be a bit different in matchups...

 

mm.. I could have won so easily too if I'd been thinking better. Well, that's why I always say that my Fables are stronger than I am.

Zane is right though, You're probably just as good as, or better than, I am; just Synchros are much better suited to the arena than Fusions are.

 

Yeah that might be part of what's holding me back. I think I'm gonna give my Jaden/Yusei hybrid Deck a try if anybody wants a Duel.

I'm getting sick of seeing this.

Jaden, you don't even need to change your deck because it's still ridiculously consistent here. You yourself have proven that Fusions are just as fast as Syncs in the arena.

Not to mention the fact that Jaden/Yusei hybird sounds as consistent as GladSworns.
