actually, Ceruli is meant to be a more accurate dark world dealings, once it's summoned to your opponent's field, you are the opponent, so it's effect forces you to discard, allowing you to use the secondary effects of stuff like Goldd

I own that card meaning kaiba is my opponent plus I special summoned it not kaiba...

it is special summoned to my "opponents" side of the field, doesnt that mean he is the opponent? o_O

 

you special summoned it to Kaiba's field. Then, after it was summoned, it's effect fires, while you are the opponent, and Kaiba is the controller.

Ceruli is really a poorly worded card.. even the Yugioh wiki's ruling on it is worded poorly.

Don't worry. As I saw in another recent duel your not the only one to make a card reading mistake. But you would either chain with your other face down, continue your move, or end your turn.

 

Please do it in the neat little format though so I know what you have..just so I have a little easier of time. Tried me would appreciate it.
