Does negating the effect remove the spell counters? Since I technically activated it doesn't it mean the spell counters are still applied?

 

the activation is negated, it was never activated technically so no you dont get the spell counter and your cerberus has 2 counters, magician has 1.

The same guy who made the game of course. And lol totally. Yeah there's a reason why they're Limited. Synchros are indeed quite broken. They're arguably the very toughest monsters in the entire game. Right next to The Envoys, Judgment Dragon and Dark Armed Dragon.

I still remember the awesome time when my opponent summoned Brionac and I stole it with Super Polymerization and fused into Absolute Zero and won the Duel.

Also the thing about Meklords is they are a good Deck for people who hate Synchro Monsters yes. But the downside is they're pretty much useless against Decks that don't rely on Synchro Monsters such as Decks that use Fusions, Ritual Monsters and Exceed Monsters.
