The Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Duel Arena 4.0!

Oh my God, Why do people keep saying this?!?!? Playing without the random card draw should make things alot easier! I can't believe I even have to say this! I mean seriously, I can't count how many times I've faced opponents who got a super-exaggerated good first hand at least 4/6 of the times (this means having things like both a monster reborn/premature burial, heavy storm and/or mirror force on the very first hand) when I only get these cards using a deck of 40 cards 2/6 of the time. And this infuriates me...like you just wouldn't believe...

And another thing, Sure I may be tough here but I get my butt kicked in the real life game. Because my luck with drawing the cards I need and want is usually very bad.

But when play here it makes a huge difference in how well I play and you get to see what I'm truly capable of as a Duelist. And do you know why? Because I'm allowed to always have the cards that I want!!!

Seriously...I really cannot believe that I have to say this...

Then why don't we try having a duel with random draw. Shuffle the deck in real life, draw the cards, post what you actually put down, etc. We can see who has the worst luck.

I have some of those cards, but that's just because I bought one of those tins with 6 booster packs

well I agree o.O let me ask you this...what would you do if you drew 6 trap/spell cards and keep drawing those types of cards for 3 turns, then the guy dueling you having 5 monsters on the field all attacking you wide open with trap/spell cards to counter yours? lol...

This kind of thing HAS happened to me before actually...And needlessly to say, It really REALLY pisses me off...It makes me feel like I was cheated out of a win.

 

You can technically, if you want to attack a monster with 2200 attack points

 

Actually, it's a stated rule there can be no first turn kills

There s a reason there isn't a random card draw, the anime doesn't use this function so the heroes of villians get what they want to pull off an epic duel so the Thread follows this so we can fully enjoy the game and try and outmanuver the opponent's moves, of course some people can hold back and make the duel go on for more than 3 turns but basically, I only hold back on newbies to let them enjoy their duel and get used to the no random draw.

However, there is also what you might call a Duelist's Spirit in which you must give everything you got against your opponent because holding back is actually an insult to your opponent and makes you too arrogant, goign all otu shows you are more challenging yes but it also helps them see you asa rival and want to improve and become as good as you.

Trust me, I lost and won a few in the real game but like I said, I just see it as way to improve my skills and become a better duelist

You just gotta believe in your cards and they'll answer you, you know that Leo, everyone starts off bad but they learn and improve as they win or lose, if you kept on winning, you'd be too arrogant but it's only when you lose you learn something important.

You know, I think I would actually like the challenge of facing Six Sams again. I hope I'll get to Duel them again soon.

 

and that reminded me that the people who win in tournaments win by epic luck xD. I say its kinda unfair for them to get what ever the prize is for the winner, and if this "random draw" thing existed in the anime every character in it would end up like Aporia when he dueled Z-one.

 

FINALLY somebody agrees with me on this...

EDIT: And chances are I probably could probably win tournaments if I was allowed to choose my hand and what cards I draw when I played every time. In fact, I've already beaten a few people who've played tournaments in my Arena. And some of them were 1st place players too.
