Not bad Kaiba, but you could of done more damage to me by Shooting Star Dragon but if you want a battle of the ace monsters, I'll grant you that desire! I DRAW!

This is...! Kaiba that dragon may have 6000 ATK but I'm taking that dragon down! I activate my own Pot of Greed, I draw two cards form my deck giving my hand 4 cards but now I play Painful Choice, now you must as it says painfully choose between these 5 cards, I keep the one you select but all others head sent for my graveyard.

Yeah I could have caused more damage, but I wanted to take down a God Card myself. Blue-Eyes Shinning Dragon is close to being like a God Card with it's effects.

OOC: Had to rush through and didn't have time for POG image since I had to go out with my nan for shopping.

Now I activate Monster Reborn, and I bring back my Stardust Dragon but I then play Synchro Change, allowing me to swap Stardust Dragon for a SYnchro monster of an equal level but ti's effects are negated so I call out Red Dragon Archfiend!






Now I summon out out the Junk Synchron you chose for me as his effect activates, allowing me t summona Level 2 or lower monster form my graveyard and who better than Glow-Up Bulb!



Now... It's time for Jack to lend me his power! Here we go! I double tune Red Dragon Archfiend with Level 3 Junk Synchron and Level 1 Glow-Up Bulb! The King and The Devil, here and now shall become as one. A Raging Spirit! Lift up the very cries of Creation itself! Synchro Summon! Come Forth, Red Nova Dragon!



Red Nova Dragon's ability activates, he gains 500 ATk for every Tuner Monster in my graveyard and thanks to you I have a lot of them, I have a total of seven Tuners, that's 3 Quickdraw Synchrons, 2 Junk Synchrons, 1 Glow-Up Bulb and Formula Synchron therefore he gains 3500 ATk, making Red Nova have a total of 7000 ATK!

But wait, there's more power to come, I activate the spell card, United We Stand and equip it to Shooting Star Dragon he gains 800 ATK for each face up Monster on my field and there's currerntly two for now so that's 1600 extra ATK, rising him up to 4900!


Now I activate Glow-Up Bulb's effect in the graveyard, I discard the top card of my deck to call him to the field, however, this effect can only be used once per DUel as Red Nova's ATK decreases by 500 and the card I sent to the graveyard is Level Eater



Then I activate Level Eaters effect, reducing Red Niva Dragon's Level from 12 to 11 then I tune both Glow-Up Bulb and level Eater to bring out my second Formula Synchron which lets me draw one card.



Hand: 1

I activate Graceful Charity, I draw three but discard two cards so I send Quillbolt Hedgehog and Bri Synchron to the graveyard but then I bring back Quillbolt Hedgehog with his effect since there is a face-up Tuner monster on my field but then I tune Level 2 Formula SYnchron and Level 2 Quillbolt hedgehog to Synchro Summon Armory Arm!






I equip Armory Arm to Red Nova Dragon and increase his ATK by 1000 as Red Nova Dragon is now at 9000 ATK thanks to my new Formula SYnchron and Bri Synchron resting in the graveyard.

- Battle Phase -

Here it comes Kaiba!


Red Nova Dragon, Attack his Blue Eyes SHining Dragon with Burning Soul! and since Red Nova had 9000 ATK, you lose 3000 LP but that's not all, Armory Arm's effect activates, when I destory one of your monsters, you take damage equal to that monster's ATK and that's a total of 6000, that's game.

Hold out on that move for just a little while, at least until we find out if Terra is continuing the duel or not

 

Hold on there Hoss, aren't you forgetting something? My Dragon is unaffected by Monster effects, sure he'll be destroyed, but I won't take damage from you're Armor hand. This would leave me with 5000 LP. (waiting for clarification on this)

 

No, His effect just says "You can negate the effects of Spells, Traps and Effect Monsters that target this card." That just means that you can stop something like Brain Control, Change of Heart, Sakuretsu Armor, Dimensional Prison etc. if it targets it. It says nothing about him being immune to effects.

Armory Arm's effect is:

This effect does not target. And even if your dragon were immune to monster effects you would still take the damage because your dragon's effect does not work while it is in the graveyard. Monster immunities only apply while they're on the field. For example, If I used Call of the Haunted to revive Elemental Hero Wildheart I could because his immunity to Trap Cards doesn't apply when he's in the graveyard. And if Call of the Haunted is removed from the field Wildheart will still stay alive because his immunity to traps will apply because he is on the field.

 

Yeah I figured that was a longshot...ahh well. *Cues explosion*



I shouldn't have left myself wide open for something like that...I was too concerned with epically slaying Obelisk. Good game Yusei, but next time we duel I'll be even stronger and I will win.

 

Every Duelist improves and gets stronger each time they win or lose, I look forward to duelling you once again but until then, it was a good game.

I think we can all agree I'm NOT one of the better ones. I've said it once and I'll say it again. I work better with random card draw

And are we going to call a winner with the duel between me and terra? It's been close to a day since he made a move
