I normal summon Morphtronic Celfon in attack mode!



Now I activate the spell card Machine Duplication, allowing me to summon all my Celfons to the field from my deck in attack mode!



Activating the effect of the first Celfon, I get... a 3! Revealing my three cards:




Meaning I can special summon my Morphtronic Scopen in defense mode! *shuffles rest back into deck*



Activate the effect of the second one... I get a 2! Revealing:



I now special summon Morphtronic Slingen in attack mode! *Shuffles other card back*



I activate the effect of slingen, tributing one celfon whose effect has already been used, in order to destroy your bladedge!

I now activate the effect of my third celfon... and I get a... 1... Reveals card:




Yeah! I special summon Morphtronic Boomboxen in defense mode! *shuffles deck* and now for the fun part... I tune my level 4 Morphtronic Scopen to my level 4 Morphtronic Slingen and my level 1 Morphtronic Celfon!

I synchro summon Ally of Justice Field Marshal!



However, since attacking would be pointless, I'll just set these two face-downs.

the problem is, even with only two copies, you can turn a non-limited card, monster riencarnation,

into pot of greed by discarding one Arc-gurren to pick up the other one, drawing two cards in the process,and then if you actually wanted to use monster reincarnation, you could still have your third copy drop Arc to pick up whatever monster you wanted, and still draw two cards.
now that I think about it, you could do that with only one copy, dropping it then picking it up, as long as you had at least one monster in the grave to start with.

No... that's the defense mode effect. The attack mode effect shuffles the rest of the cards back into the deck. Celfon's my key card, I know how it works...

For one, I don't even have monster reincarnation in my deck.
You can ask Jaden, he knows my deck essentially.
Two, I wouldn't be able to use it too much.
Again, I'll state the weakness of my deck.
It goes up in stages, if I lose both of my Arc-Gurrens. Then essentially, I can't summon my stronger monsters since it's a key requirement.
If I can't summon my stronger monsters, then I can't really do much at all.
Because of that, and the series Arc-Gurren is in, that effect is pretty fair.
Losing it to my Graveyard means that I can't use it for what it is meant for, which is a fusion base.
Yes, I can revive it, sure...
but that's the point of revive cards is it not?
If we're gonna get into the whole morales of reviving useful monsters, then we might as well ban every revival card while we are at it.
Every card has an advantage of some kind.
A few have draw backs to counter those advantages.
At the end of the day, it's how you use those cards, if you're telling me that after me telling everyone in this arena every draw back that my Arc-Gurren has, as well as my entire deck for that matter, then I don't see how I'm ever going to persuade anyone about anything.
I mean cards have effects.
Monster reborn for example lets you revive a monster at no cost (yeah it's limited) but the point is, that has no disadvantages to it and only advantages, hence why it is limited.
Since Arc-Gurren has disadvantages as well as advantages and is considered semi limited.
I think that's a pretty fair trade off. But, hey, I'm just one guy.

I think it's effect should be changed to "when this card is sent from the field to the graveyard Draw 2 cards" instead.

I think for the way it's being used it would work better as "when this card is sent from your hand to the graveyard by a card effect, or is used as a fusion material monster, you may draw two cards. When this card is removed from the graveyard, discard one card." maybe with an added "The effect of "Arc-gurren" can only be used once per turn" or "if this card is sent to the graveyard while another "Arc-gurren" is in the graveyard, remove that Arc-gurren from play, if this card is in the graveyard at the same time as another "Arc-gurren", discard two cards, then shuffle one copy of "Arc-gurren" back into your deck"
