Keep thinking that. As the great Akisame-Sensei once said, "never go into a battle beleiving you will lose. Otherwise, you will most certainly never win" Or something like that. It's been a while since I saw that episode.

Anyways, here's my terms to our duel.

MY PROBLEM IS JUST BAD LUCK!!! I'M USING A FREAKING 40 CARD DECK!!! THE DECK HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!! OH MY GOD I AM SO SICK OF HEARING THAT FROM PEOPLE!!!

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!

    *breathes in and out*

Okay, Let me ask you this:

If I got a starting hand full of nothing but 5 unplayable spell cards and 1 monster that can't be summoned or set while you got to fill your field with 3-4-5 monsters attacking me with me wide-open and kill me within the first 2-3 turns would you think that the win you had against me was worth it then?

Or if how would you feel if I drew a starting hand with 6 spell/trap cards and kept drawing those types of cards during each of my turns and then you had 5 monsters on the field all attacking me with me wide open and killing me within said amount of turns before I could get out a single monster and do anything? Would you think that was fair? You don't think those are good enough reasons to hate the random card draw?

But at least here I get to actually defend myself because I'm allowed to draw what I need and want.

Change customs to no please. I want to have a normal Duel.

Yes actually, I would think that's fair. In both the game and real live I've started out with only spells and traps that are meaningless. But I don't whine about it. I deal with it. If you lose a duel because of bad hand, that's perfectly fair. You're not going to get any sympathy out of me just because you didn't draw a good hand.

fine, but seriously, you've gotta learn to take the initiative. BTW, I'm not going to post any Aster picts, just because this isn't my Destiny Deck

    -Draw Phase-
    Hand-6

    -Main Phase-

Ok. I'm going to start off by summon Banisher of the Radiance in attack mode.

Then I set 2 cards facedown

    Hand-3

How the hell is it fair to lose to a scrub who you're 100x a better Duelist than because of those said reasons and you know that you could've won if you had drawn what you needed? How the bloody hell is THAT fair? TELL ME NOW.

because that's the way life works. It's simple but it's true. You can't live with everything going your way. My whole life has basically been like that. Trust me, I've lost to plenty of people I couldn't won against, but that's just because of some bad luck. It's not the person per se, but the cards and luck. There's so much more to dueling than just skill. While you may duel at tournament level, it doesn't mean a thing except that you've got the right cards for good combos and such. If we were to put Pokemon as an example, I've most certainly had the same experience. I've had the higher levels, stronger moves, everything, but I've lost to a trainer far weaker than me. There really is no way to decide if a person is better than the other in Yugioh. It just depends on what happens as that moment of time. You get what you get, and you make the most of what you've got. Sometimes it's nothing, sometimes it's alot.

    no, you can continue

now, now...that is just a bunch of nonsense lol...
how is it fair for someone if they have a hand with 6 spell/trap cards...plus the fact that pot of greed is BANNED from tournaments...sometimes the other guy gets lucky and has all the cards he needs but are you seriously going to think that me drawing 6 spell/trap cards on the first turn would be fair?...
if that is so whats the reason of making cards like "Jar robber", etc...
its not like the other guy would actually HAVE pot of greed...you have absolutely no idea what he has...how is it fair if you could just somehow draw all 5 pieces of exodia in 1~3 draws...and its actually VERY possible if you have 3 copies of every piece of exodia too...

You guys are kinda mixing what you think is fair to what really is fair. Yugioh is a mix of so many things. But a lot of it is luck. You need to be lucky on what you draw. Yeah, someone can start a game with all of exodia, very rare, but it's like getting a royal flush, it's probably never going to happen in your lifetime, but it still might happen. You can't explain these things. You just have to make sure you're ready to handle what comes your way

Okay, I'm sorry...I just couldn't hold that in...Now that I've regained my composure let me say this:

Yes, That is all true. But it sure as hell isn't fair. This Arena eliminates that problem.

And that is your decision. I respect that. And I know you hate it, there are so many things that I hate with a passion just like that. Heck, I'll blow up when it's not really necissary. Kinda like when I'm trying to get a Sun Signal in Final fantasy X. Oooh does that make me mad! I don't think it's fair at all. But still, after a sec, I know it's fair because I either need to be good enough, get lucky at times, and just go with what I've got. And believe me, that's so much easier said than done.

Thank you Brooklyn. This is basically what I was trying to say.

But you're not always going to have the cards you need in order to do that. That's my point. And this Arena fixes that problem.

This is a perfect example of the random card draw. If you get what he got, then you can test your luck again. Or at least that's what I think to make it feel better. My luck has like it's own luck to it. I have to be lucky with my luck to actually be lucky. Try sticking that in your brain. Nah, I don't chain

You're absolutely right. You're not always going to have the cards you need. So if you lose, you take it like a man/woman, and try your best next time. And make sure you congragulate your opponent too
